I remember it well. When I lived there the places to go were the Flamingo and the Penventon Hotel Discos (There were two in the same hotel). In those days you could drive up Redruth high street, turn right at the top and and go down hill to the station. I worked for a year or two in the West End Fish and Chip shop next to the Fairfield entrance in West End. It's long gone now. I think today its a Chinese take away. Good memories.

Cornwall is one of the most beautiful areas I visited in 80 and spent two months in Red Ruth and visited Truro, Benzans and Niuki and returned to her in 82 I lived in Borth Thrith where I spent the most beautiful days of my youth for two months
