      cz sucks??? right that's your personal view, I say it damn great pistol that I carry when I carry. Great design that held over time and is copied because it works. it is my best 9mm.

    The Sig is extremely tempting. But the CZ gets my vote.

    Both great for sure, but there is just something about CZ's that keep me comin' back to the time and time again.

  • @Blakehenry11
    @Blakehenry11 5 лет назад +5

    I own both, started with a standard SP-01 and then moved on to the SP-01 shadow. If your comparing the stock SP-01 with a tacops then I say the Tacops wins the trigger contest, reset, more comfort trigger. If its accuracy the SP-01 wins. If your talking about a Shadow its not even close. The shadow blows the Tacops away in every category.

  • @stevegant7856
    @stevegant7856 5 лет назад +10

    I have both! The CZ is less expensive and shoots very nice, and the Sig Sauer shoots very nice and is way easier to break down and clean! It's splitting hairs here, you can't lose with either one of them.

    • @nicholaspetre1
      @nicholaspetre1 4 года назад

      So which one to buy for target shooting and home defense? Not concealed carrying. I fyou were to choose, which one would you choose to keep after having owned and experienced both of them? Thanks a lot

    • @stevegant7856
      @stevegant7856 4 года назад +1

      @@nicholaspetre1 That's a tough question! I like my CZ because it has night sights, but the Sig was my first pistol I ever purchased back in 1989. Sig Sauer is absolute quality and new models come with night sites! The CZ feels like holding a 1911 and I like that!

      Nicholas Petre SP01 for target. 226 for defense.

  • @pinkiewerewolf

    I traded a Sig P226 Extreme for an older German made P220 because of all the nanny state garbage on the newer CA model P226's.
    Also because I had the CZ 75 SP-01 that doesn't come with draconian safety features, shoots amazingly accurately, and is the definition of badass.

  • @stevegant7856
    @stevegant7856 5 лет назад +3

    Comparing these two firearm's quality is truly splitting hairs, and I have both of them as well! I definitely like the Sig's take down better, but the CZ fits in your hand so nicely! If your life is on the line, I would feel confident with both! The only other question I thought was hard is, do I like Kirk or do I like Pickard!

    Both of those are great guns, and I would have a hard time choosing. I absolutely love that stippling on your Sig Tacops, you did an amazing job sir. Looking forward to next weeks acquisition, and I'm picking up my first Steyr on Friday. It's the M9-A1 with the threaded barrel. Now, if only my suppressor would get here(on month 11). Have a great day brother!

    I have both. my 226 came as 40 but I had a 9mm barrel fitted. I also did the M-Carbo triggers to all my CZs. I think I like the Sig better, both shooting and construction.

    For me, the SIG takes the cake and the separating factor between the two primarily is the supply chain network and the armorer network. SIG armorer's and parts can be found everywhere in America. CZ on the other hand is a bit more difficult to tune, repair and accessories. But, it is changing. Second, the manual of arms for a SIG is simpler. Carry hammer down on a loaded chamber. Combat reloads are easier due to having a large slide traveling over the frame rails. The CZ has a safety and can be carried cocked and locked. But, getting used to actuating a safety lever/decocker and be problematic for those not used to it. The SIG has a decocker on the side to swipe only. While the small slide and internal frame rails make for a very accurate, steady shooter under rapid fire, it can be a bit problematic to combat reload than the more conventional SIG. For these reasons, the SIG is my GTW gun.

    • @tsomers01

      The CZ in this video is a decocker model also.

    I've fired both, and they're among the best nines you'll find. They are equally accurate and dependable, but I find the ergonomics of the CZ better. The barrel weight facilitates pointing and re-acquisition, and it just feels more natural in my hand.

  • @johndeere1951a

    Both equally excellent.
    CZ has edge on grip ergo.
    Sig has edge on simple trigger fire group part construction. Sold my 75 & 97. Now P226 Elite & P227 Elite in my underpants drawer.
    Both winners 🏆🏆

    Own them both. Have used the CA 75 for decades and it is amazing but still, the Tacops 226 and 227 are a go to. However my best IDPA high hand start 10 shot time still rests with he CZ. It is one fast easy to control piece of art. TY for the video. Scott

    I have the Sig P226 Scorpion and the CZ75 SP01and love them both.. The SRT trigger on the Sig is lighter with a much shorter reset but both triggers are good. The biggest difference with these guns is the price.. The CZ 75 was $700.00 out the door , the Sig was $1,175.00 out the door..

    Was shooting in Northern Roland last week and had a chance to shoot the CZ Shadow 2 and the Sig P226 LDC. Both retail over there for around £1250. Myself and other shooters all gravitated to the Sig, so much so that one of the guys bought a Sig there and then and I'm looking to sell a Caesar Guerini 20 bore that I have in order to finance my purchase of one.

    Both are beautiful guns. I’ve got a 226 already and had a CZ75 that I regret selling every time I think about it. So obviously the solution is to buy the 01 and decide for myself. Although I do have an unhealthy crush on the 226 as my favorite handgun. It’s also my go to home defense gun.

    CZ is the best value in firearms, from pistols, rifles and shotguns. Great quality. Mid range price. For the Sp01 which I own, it's heavy as fk. Recoil is very little. Absolutely a joy to shoot but too heavy to carry even as a duty role. No, it's not for sale

    Why not just test the trigger pull weight for double action? The tool is right there. I have read that the sig is ~10 lbs, while the CZ is closer to 8 lbs. Would be worth mentioning.

      Sorry for the follow up questions, but how is the rubber grip on the CZ-75? I notice that a lot of people (when reviewing) either swap it out for mental or wooden grips. They never really talk about the rubber. Personally, I actually really like the fact that grips have a rubber aspect to them (can't really tell you why though). I also saw online that there is a wrap around rubber grip. It is pretty cheap and received good ratings. Do you think that the wrap around grip might add on too much weight to the already semi-heavy pistol/disadvantage it in anyway, or do you think that it is a smart purchase?

      They make the sp-01 tactical in both the standered and suppresser ready configuration. The only difference between the sp-01 and the "tactical" is the safety instead of a decocker. From what I've read you can get a better trigger with a safety only gun. I like the rubber grips on mine, I have considered g10 grips but only if they have palm swells. I would not put any kind of finger grove grip on my guns but that's just me.

    “Hammer bite” from an FN? FNX9 & 45 and never had any issue. Strange how some people’s hands get in the way - seen some people get slide bite from others as well which is another problem I’ve never had, and I have large hands. I can see it with a Glock, as there’s very very little clearance even on my hands but I’ve seen it on Sigs etc too.

      Probably yes.
      Make sure the condition isn't garbage and avoid the double action only police guns if you can. They're not as good to shoot and their re-sell is weak. Also... 9mm and 357 calibers are Superior to the 40s&w. The 40s don't sell as good as 40 seems to be a dying caliber. If it's a beat up, Double action only, 40 Cal police turn in ... Then $400 is actually kind of standard pricing for that pistol. So I'd pass on it personally. But if you like 40 you may keep it.

  • @Thr33.Sid3z
    @Thr33.Sid3z 7 лет назад

    P226 TacOps all day!!! The Sig is better in every category.
    -Grip is better on the Sig, you can get a nice high purchase on that handle and it has a large mag well for that 20 round Mag,
    -Trigger is 10x better, as well as the reset. Maybe the only trigger i think is as good is the one on the Legion model, which brings me to sights...
    -The sights on the Sig are 2nd to only the sights on the Legion model 226, but they are both better than any other sights.
    -Sig is lighter
    -The Barrel on the Sig comes threaded or Non threaded
    -Durability has been tested time & time again, for years by our Navy Seals

    • @wrathofspace

      I had a 226 legion and my dad bought a CZ shadow 2. After just one range trip with him I sold my legion and bought the Shadow 2. The trigger is amazing and way less muzzle flip. I'm a big CZ fan now. Oh and as service tested, the cz 75 and it's variants are the most used service pistols in the world as used by police and military.
