Hello Susie, I guess you felt so nice having the Hungarian atmosphere even for a short time of the night meeting locals from Hungary and dining with the food you missed and pastries with wine. You both looked so elegant with your OTD's for the event!
Beautiful celebration between our countries 💐 You both look excellent for the event and such a wonderful evening for all the guest and organizers. Great vlog Susie! I enjoyed watching this 🤗😊👍🥰💕
That was a lovely evening ü Happy to see you among fellow Hungarians, be surrounded by "home" food, language and sensibilities, and the commemoration of the friendship and diplomacy ties between our 2 countries =D (You were 40 years off! But that's okay ü ) Egészségére to you both, Susie and Jonathan and to the Hungarians in the Philippines!
what a lovely vlog, Susie....I happened to view a vlog of Peter Buka....he is a Hungarian painist who is a successful RUclipsr with 2.9MM subscribers...i just subscribed to his channel after listening to him playing the piano...just sharing.
I understand how you felt. It was the same for me many years ago I was staying in Luxembourg (before cell phones and internet) and attended a Philippine Independence Day celebration. I was surprised there were many Filipinos and Filipinas living and married to Europeans. The best were the food that i was missing so much. Weird speaking in Tagalog too in Europe . 😊
Curious lang ako kon lenguahe ng Hungarian same or similar with German or more close sa Czech? Natanong ko kasi pinapanood ko rin yon vlog ng Filipino-Czech nasa Britain...
Hungarian is actually a quite unique language that is not really similar to any other languages in grammar or vocabulary. It's also one of the most difficult languages to learn. Some say it sounds similar to Finnish. 😊
@SusieinthePhilippines Susie, that's a spot on observation. Hungarian, Finnish, and Estonian all originated from the same language root called Uralic, the languages spoken by the people that migrated south and west from around the Ural mountains and Western Siberia.
Oh I'm sad to hear that. We are very lucky to have so friendly people. We had some bad experiences with other embassies where we were fixing visa for Jonathan before Hungary had one in Manila, too.
nice that you could vlog the event. i wish you were able to point out which parts of the fashion show outfits are specifically Hungarian. i could only spot the Filipino influences
So actually the beautiful red flower like motives on the dresses were Hungarian 😊 Some of them were a mix of Hungarian and Filipino outfits like a Filipinana with the big shoulders but Hungarian motives on it! I wish I had a dress like that! 😍
Mabuhay Hungary and Philippines!
Very good of the embassy to invite you guys. You represent the good relations of the Philippines and Hungary.
All that food. You made me Hungary.
