    I hated snails in the beginning also, but now i just learned to accept them. I just think of them as a good thing for my aquarium cycle

      I'm ok with the snails also. The problem with freshwater limpets is that they scrape all the algae and biofilm off the surface and leave my shrimp without natural food source.

    New tank looking great! 👌 I think the larger anubias is "nana" and the anubias attached to the cholla wood is possibly "nana petite" which grows smaller and more compact

    The best part of the videos is the “let it rain shrimp” moment. Pulling in the baby is also very cool. I need to get some coconut bridges in my tanks. They look so cool. I have such shrimp room envy. Someday maybe… Thanks for the video.

      Before I only want to see my shrimp but then I realized that it's more pleasant to look at the tank with beautiful plants rather than just moss

    amazing video! just woke up to do my work out and saw your vide and this is a great surprise. love it at 0:06 the amazing collection of camera gear, lens and L lens. love the tons of babies at 4:08 it's amazing to see so many babies at 4:40 the rainfall of shrimp entering the tank is such a therapeutic scene. 15:49 I'm going to have to inquire you about those crazy blues later, but 6 berried that's amazing, i find at spring time a lot of my shrimp berry up. 17:49 the babies are so cute, so many of them. I love that ada soil! just got 6 more bags myself, can't wait till your next video!

    Lovely video as always 👌. I also have a hate fresh water limpets. Hopefully, very soon, I'll make a small pvc roller to squish the little buggers without scraping the algae off the glass, and it will also feed the shrimp too so in my eyes its a win win situation haha thank you again for the amazing video.

    Amazing video as usual !
    I have setup one tank with Golden ADA Amazonia and after cycling I added my colony.
    Many females got berried but unfortunately I didn’t see survived babies!
    Although all water parameters are normal.
    Any advice ?

      If they are berried for the first time it's normal for them to lose eggs due to lack of experience. It happens to my females quite a lot. If they are experienced and you don't see the babies maybe check your water for ammonia, NO2, NO3. You should have plenty of biofilm for babies to survive in the new setup

    Why are copepods so good? Do they not eat the shrimp food also? I see you and others having them and other species in shrimp and fish tanks to create a diverse system but also see online there's so many kinds. I got some at my local aquarium store today but have no idea if they are fresh or salt water, or will even survive and breed in my tanks or not 😅

    What a beautiful shrimp rain 🥲🥲. When cycling your tanks, when do you start to add gh? Or do you add pure ro water for the entire process?

      I don't believe it makes any difference if you use RO water or with GH, I normally use whatever water I have in my reservoir and then remineralize it to the number I like after last w/c

    Hi, I also tried a UGF and when I turned on the air pump a bunch of dirty soil threw into my aquarium, I used the same soil ADA Amazonia Light, I even washed it before putting it in the filter box, do you know why?

    Why did you change 90% of the water from the tank before introducing the shrimps? (isn't it better to have a lot of nitrates in the water so that the shrimps can feed on it)

      It’s ok for simple caridina like crystal red but not for high end caridina because high ph 6.5 from my experience

      Thank you man, she is a lovely baby girl! I have a lot of dust at the bottom of the ugfs and in some tanks the dust comes out from the filters and cloud the water from time to time in some tanks I don't have this issue. I used to clean it before but now I prefer just leave it because once you clean it it will come back in a month or so. I have a video on how I cleaned it - ruclips.net/video/01iR8mI-bFA/видео.html

      How old is your tank? My shrimp slow down with breeding once the soil expires normally in about 12-18 months after setup

      @@ShrimpMania Its about 9 months old at the moment, water parameters are normal. Shrimp aint dieing, and feeding multiple food sources. At 22 degrees stable as well. Got some good moss in there.

      @@RedGalaxyFishbone Sometimes it is hard to say what can be wrong. It happened to me before. Sounds like old tank syndrome when the soil doesn't work anymore. Check your ph, kh, gh stuff like that. If that would happen to me I would just reset the tank this defiantly fixes the issue. The longer you wait the more time you waste it's unlikely you will fix it.

      Could be a few reasons. Parameters need to be same or close . Water temperature needs to be same . And most importantly don’t do large water changes (10%) max and drip water back in don’t just dump water back in
