The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society Novel by Annie Barrows and Mary Ann Shaffer I really 💖’d it! Heard it read aloud on NPR’s Chapter A Day, then watched the movie on RUclips. TFSing your story, is so fun getting to know you more. OMGoodness…I had math & algebra phobia since 4th grade - high school. Struggled terribly, cried, had a private tutor. Still never got better than C’s. Still was able to graduate top 10 in my class. I was a MN kid too! Went to Winona State, then UMN, graduated from Northwestern Christian college. SO LONG AGO!
Meghan, you reflecting on the progression of your life is interesting and important. I have many times taken the opportunity to review the major and minor events happened to make me who I am today. 🎉 I cherish even the hard moments because every one of those events has contributed to my evolution into the person I am today. Many times I heard "Not now" and have experienced many doors that have slammed behind me. But, one important thing I have realized, each moment is necessary and should be valued equally in our eyes. I have a lot to be grateful this year I was diagnosed with leukemia in January the doctor's told me if I didn't get treatment I would die. So I did the treatment. I have to say, that I believe that something happened that definitely changed what my life could have been. there is a huge back story, but I had a boyfriend when I was too young to actually have a boyfriend. my dad was monitoring our relationship, and we probably saw each other in our church, and we never actually "dated" for maybe a year. He had to move back to his hometown, which is about an hour or so from where I live, because of trouble with the elders in the congregation. We wrote back and forth for awhile, and he had actually proposed to me and we were suppose to be married in probably a year. anyway, what happened was he and his brother were in a car accident, a very simple, like ran into a curb kind of thing and he was killed. I believe to my core that that happened for a reason. his brother was not hurt in any way. I do believe that god does have a plan for each of us and if we stray from that course, he will do something to put us back on it. my two cents! thanks for sharing! I loved the vid! xoxo
Geometry was not my favorite subject. I failed it the first time I took it in high school and the second time I took it I did very well. But I did have a teacher that explained it very well. I'm grateful for the path God guided me on

Though a gene mutation has caused many challenges in my life, it definitely changed so many things in my life, decisions I've had to make and being courageous, trusting God, struggles it took to find hope; to this past April 25th finding peace is at the helm and my eternal home awaits me. I love these chats Megan. God has always showed up and out in my life. I knew the first night I went out with my husband that I'd marry that man. I had to convince him that I was the one for him and yes I did it! We've been married 43 years.
Walking through the gate of 'hard' is entrance into unique growth. My sons oncologist, after he passed at 16, said, You know more about yourself now don't you. And I did and what I learned was so difficult it was impossible to go back. And that is how God intended it.
There are alot of things that have changed my life for sure...some for good and some for bad. The biggest thing that has changed my life is when my 28 year old daughter died a year ago...I have to believe that there is a reason that she was taken from us but it is not for us to know what that is just yet. I am sure that we will be together again when my time is up and then I will know the reason that she was taken from us at 28 with a whole life ahead of her to have
You inspire me so much! I love your channel!! I have thought about stuff in my life about🎉 how things would have been so different if I had done this , or not done that..... and it makes me SOOOO appreciatve of my life and this beautiful world we all get to live in! We are all guided by GOD. I do believe that our WILL is His WILL, His WILL , is our WILL, and that GOD wants only joy and love for us. When we feel joy and love or passion or desire about something in our hearts, that's GOD communicating to us! Thank you for everything you do!

Thank you for sharing Meghan. I'll pick the one similar to yours. My Father was a Machinist, we lived numbers at our house. 😂 I signed up for Algebra, my Freshman HS year. Upon entering Misses Bright class, all three walls were covered with pull-down vinyl blinds. Hmmm. Blind after blind was raised with ever increasing complex math problems. She instilled in us that we together will solve life's problems through math. She prepared us for success through HS and beyond. 40 years on, I'm still applying her teaching. God Bless those who giive!!
