I get very very angry when people think the ukulele is just a kids toy! When they say that ,I hand them my uke and they can’t even play it!

I think I spied Benny Chong in there from 50:10 - 50:11. An amazing godfather of jazz ukulele and pioneer of the instrument. If you find yourself here, I suggest you read more about him, Dr. Byron Yasui, and Lyle Ritz. Were if not for them, I certainly wouldn't own an uke today! We all owe them

This Canadian Music teacher might just be the best school music teacher on the planet. Why weren’t our music lessons like this 30-50 years ago in the UK instead of standing in rows singing along to an old biddy playing a poorly tuned cheap piano?

Those horrible upright pianos. I remember them well. The teacher hammering out the tune with the sustain pedal pushed down...just awful!

Jake shimabukuro is wonderful, but the way he strum is not of my taste, just too hard and too much, in the end its just noise, I prefer a more ralxing hawaii vibe TBH
