WOOOOOWWW fantastic, you where right, so much better then this year. Is Hong Kong Disney China owned, or Disney owned. If it's Disney .... they are going down fast, would explains the degrading.
Well hkdl is co-owned by Disney(49%) and the Hong Kong gov(51%) and it has brought a lot of problems in the past. It doesn’t matter if HKDL loses money (which they did for 14 of the 18 years of operation) the HK gov will be paying for the loses on top of a hefty licensing fee to Disney. It sort makes HKDL lazy and doesn’t strive for the best (not just in entertainment but in every other aspect) when the HK gov will be paying for the loses anyways. Also the HK gov didn’t really believe in big, expensive and elaborate expansion plans and turned down a lot of amazing pitches from Disney(we could have gotten our own pirate land with a Fantasmic!) and tend to go down the cheaper, safer route. Let’s hope that the success of Arendelle would make them realise the potential of these immersive lands.
