Fantastic reno! It really suits the Goths. I especially love Alexander's room, it has so much personality! I really gotta download more 4t2 furniture conversions, this stuff is gorgeous and you're so right about the base TS2 furniture selection being lacking. There's just a severe lack of choices and swatches! I burned out on TS4 as well and went back to TS2 a couple weeks ago. Best decision I've made all year :) would love to see you tackle the Pleasant's house.
Thank you! There are some really great databases on Tumblr that reblog all the 4t2 conversions and organizes everything so you have an easier time finding what you’re looking for. They were a lifesaver for me while trying to find furniture for this house lol. And I think the Pleasant house is the one I’m looking forward to renovating the most, although I’m already a little nervous about that upstairs floor plan! 😅
Sims 2 is pretty much ramshackle spaghetti code in a trench coat, but it's oddly nostalgic despite me not growing up with it. Glad I'm not the only one who associates Cassandra with purple, lol
