We need gold to do lots of things in Stardew Valley, but what if you couldn't even move anywhere without spending gold?! I'll be doing a perfection run with the Tileman Challenge mod where I'll have to buy my way around the map, and the cost will increase a bit over time, too 🫣

i love this challenge so much!! also, as a tip, you can set a task in the to dew list as "repeating" and then choose the amount of days you want in between them so you don't have to manually set the tasks again every time you harvested the starfruit!! (i think for this you need to check all the days and weeks and seasons) (it also works if you mark the task as done, it'll just come back!!)

You can plant a fairy rose seed in the walnut spot above the island house. The one next to the secret walnut path.

You dont actually need to water fiber seeds at all, i grew them on ginger island, only thing is that crows still get them

@@emmalution Sashimi is actually one of the most underrated items in the game imo. The recipe is so easy to get. Linus likes every edible forage item except spring onion, and is conveniently located in the mountains. There's no 'cost' to it, since you can't readily buy it, but if you take it at the sell price of 75g, you get 1g per energy and 2.3 g per life. Compare that to salad, the food most people use mid-late game, which costs you 1.9g per energy and a whopping 4.4g per life! PLUS, apart from Seb who loves it, all the villagers like it except for Emily (hates fish), Kent (who was fed this in a prison camp, apparently), Evelyn, Leo and Krobus. Willy is neutral but for me it's still worth it. Honestly, walking around with a stack of Sashimi is my go-to for friendships and food, especially when you unlock GI and get all those free mussels!
