Blade finish for this fan is Pecan. When you take Hunter Original fans down, it's normal for the oil to come out should it ever need oil change. But you have to use paper towels between the rotor and oil cup to prevent oil from spreading elsewhere and have it upside-down. The bowl in the rotor is deeper and is easier to catch oil when doing oil change.
@@FanOfCars2006 clean the fan out first since you never know how long this fan had cruddy oil. Reassemble the fan, put it on the ceiling, and add 1-ounce of SAE-10 non-detergent motor oil. The oil part number is 22732. You'll need a pipe cleaner to prevent overflowing oil.
@@FanOfCars2006 when removing the fan, I'd suggest sticking in paper towels between the rotor and oil cup to prevent excess oil dripping everywhere. Then take it apart and clean the whole fan up. I can show you how to do it.

Gotcha, thank you so much! Do you suggest that I put more oil into this fan?

@@AdinPanthersFanHobby Gotcha, thanks! Also, is there a way to empty out the current oil?
