The lighter tile goes with the counter top and black doesn't bring out any other black in the kitchen
When your mom is done with the pumpkins, there are animal rescues/sanctuaries that will accept them as treats for the residents 😉🐷🐮🐔 just a suggestion! Can’t wait to see the finished living room 😊
We put our pumpkins out in the yard and the squirrels have a field day eating all the seeds.

The mums will grow back. Get them into the ground and they'll come back. When the weather gets cold just cut the stems and come in the Spring, you will start to see new growth, then blossoms in the Fall.

With the roses, if you don't cut the spent blooms off you will get rose hips which are also very good for decorating.

This is by far one of my favourite RUclipsrs. Macenna is so down to earth and warms my heart to watch her. I just love when she is excited and happy how she scrunches her nose, so cute and so so talented! Here in Canada we get the joy of decorating for Thanks Giving at the start of October. Then Halloween. Then November 11th and finally Christmas.
Canada is doing it right! If you didn't have more snow than us, I'd move there in a heartbeat! ...well maybe you don't have MORE snow, but it's certainly colder!
In Hungary (but most of Europe as well) we didn't have thanksgiving, but we love to decorate for fall. But the Christmas decoration only starts on first advent Saturday, which is 27th November this year. If you have Christmas decor up in your home before that, here you count as a (Christmas)crazy person 😂 expect the shops. They are in full Christmas on early November..
@Orsolya Hajdu only November? Here in America, the way retail works, Christmas is up by October, but honestly, probably earlier, icr.
Clothes too. I live in a VERY cold, snowy area, so it's quite disarming to see shorts and swimwear in the stores in January. Same goes for fall sweaters in July. It's so hot outside, you don't want to think about sweaters!

I’ve learned walls are rarely ever the same size or completely square! If you measure along the back of the wall in addition to the front of the wall - from the corner front of the wall near the mantel to the other side you’ll make sure the cabinet will fit to the wall in the back in addition to the space in the front.

About your human design, you need to get the app. This is mind blowing, so spot on for me as well !
To each their own, but I love that here in Canada, thanksgiving is tied to the harvest so it happens in the second week of October. That way the fall decor from late august/ September just carries through. Then you can do Halloween mid October to mid November then after remembrance day (nov 11) you can just go full Christmas. I always feel for the American you tubers I follow cause they gotta pivot back to fall thanksgiving. Also, we have a thanksgiving feast day in October and nothing until Christmas, unless you choose to do a football snack fest in November.

The straight tinsel is called Lametta - we've had it on our family tree every year!
We managed to find some vintage lametta in its original packaging made from real metal, it's so beautiful.

I love human design and I’m an astrologer! I still only know the basics of HD, but I’m a projector. It totally explained my experience in the world and especially why my energy levels are what they are. Once you get into the details things get eerily specific so it’s lots of fun to dive into.
I do Human Design readings and seeing you talking about it made me do a little dance hahah Split definition means that your energy centers have a split between them, this creates the double voices inside you while taking information. It's the "should i do this?" and then there's another part that says "well, if you do it then x can happen". The best way for you to process information is by having someone else you can use as a "soundboard". Because that person will fill in the gap that's in your energy centers and will allow energy/information to be processed easier than if you were on your own. Hope this makes a bit more sense!

You won’t regret your shiny tiles. They ARE beautiful and they will be very easy to clean. Don’t forget to seal the grout because the heat will darken it. I didn’t think it was necessary but I change my stove with controls in front of it so, no head. The heat of the stove that comes out on top of it has make my white grout very beige. I cannot make it white again☹️

I also have a family tree skirt that was sewn by a family member in the 1950's that matches my 1950's dining room tree and decorations theme. The tree skirt was too small so I bought a bigger offwhite one and layered the vintage one on top. It's perfect! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours .

I have recently been building my closets and I am doing it all by myself. I have found that ordering the wood I need online at Home Depot is very helpful. They pull it and you can just pick it up usually within 1-2 hours! It is possible they have it but have not stocked the shelves. There site tells you how many that store has. I enjoy watching your videos! Kingsley is a doll! Thank you!

I prefer the lighter tile for the backsplash behind the kitchen stove bc I think it contrasts better with the beautiful window trim. I think the dark tile will kinda overwhelm it. BUT, I do see why you like the darker, moody, smoother tile. Either one will look great. Btw, I really like the mixed pattern of the pavers, much more you. Happy Thanksgiving.
