    Thanks for doing these camper videos. We’re looking at buying one so we appreciate the real life reviews. Looking forward to the pros and cons vid.

      I appreciate the feedback, we love ours but like all campers they have quirks.
      Next camper vid will be everything that went wrong after the first trip already filmed just have to edit.

    Thanks for sharing. This is our first year with a camper. We have the exact same one. But I love the cover over the stove burners!

      Yeah we like the camper, Camping world I'm not to thrilled with at the moment. May have a video coming out soon on how they are trying to screw me unless they decide not to battle me

    Thank you so much for that video!!!! I hope you get the right hose. Quick and dumb question. If you drained the water already how were you getting the fluid to come out pink? Was it water plus antifreeze? And if so, Where was the water coming from or was that pure antifreeze and not water. Sorry for the dumb question but I’m so so new to this!

    • @BrailsfordsRides
      @BrailsfordsRides  29 дней назад +1

      So I drain all the water out, Isolate my water heater since I have a tank and don't want antifreeze in the tank, and then pump the antifreeze in to all the pipes to prevent freezing. I Go after the low points first, ie the drains then I work my way up, sink, toilet, shower until all air is out of the system and it's full of antifreeze.

    Do you replace the anode rod back after u remove it or leave it out

    • @BrailsfordsRides
      @BrailsfordsRides  10 дней назад +1

      It really depends on how bad the rod is, if there is aot of the rod left then there is no need to change it

  • @connerbrailsford6837
    @connerbrailsford6837 Год назад +2

    Dude, I would recommend just buying a new hose and replacing the old one. I think it will save you a lot of pain in the future.

    • @connerbrailsford6837
      @connerbrailsford6837 Год назад +1

      Also, leave some in the p-traps to make sure they don't freeze

    • @BrailsfordsRides
      @BrailsfordsRides  Год назад

      You mean the low point drains?

    • @BrailsfordsRides
      @BrailsfordsRides  Год назад

      They are supposed to send me the bigger hose, idk what size hose this is anyhow

    • @connerbrailsford6837
      @connerbrailsford6837 Год назад +1

      @@BrailsfordsRides no under the sink and showers there should be p-traps as well I would let a little excess out to fill them up and lower the freeze point in there too

    Do you need to get last bit of water out of water heater after removing anode Rod? Got a little puddle still in there.

    • @BrailsfordsRides
      @BrailsfordsRides  Год назад +1

      I mean I called it good but I do drive my wheel up onto an incline to get as much as I can

  • @gogolocomotives9738
    @gogolocomotives9738 Год назад +1

    I cant get my anode at and its gonna freeze. Is it a big deal if I did everything else? Thanks for the video!

    How did you bypass the water heater?

    • @BrailsfordsRides
      @BrailsfordsRides  Год назад +1

      There is a panel under the fridge and you can close the valves going into it and bypass it

  • @StupidFastTruck
    @StupidFastTruck Год назад +2

    There was probably a shortage of hose when it was built.

  • @delhatcher8347
    @delhatcher8347 Год назад +1

    Why can't you just change the hose, and make it longer ? Put a valve on the end and leave it there.

    • @BrailsfordsRides
      @BrailsfordsRides  Год назад

      I'm going to, but it was supposed to come longer from the factory. This was like immediately after I bought it and needed to get it done
