- I put some Pixel Art on RUclips's biggest art collab, started by Ten Hundred and now it's here and I need your help!
This is RUclips's BIGGEST Art Collab. Ten Hundred started this challenge where an artist puts their work on the canvas, and then sends it to another artist until the canvas is full.
Ten Hundred sent it to Temi Danso Art, who sent it to BlackBean CMS, who sent it to CurrieGOAT and now it's here... In this video you can watch my full process for putting some pixel art on the board, from ideas to finished art piece.

This was super cool. Love the treasure hunt aspect you included! This was a really well done and somehow quite a relaxing video that also makes me wanna try out mosaics. Excited to check out some more of your videos and see what the next artist does. Awesome job!

In 2021, I was watching the first collab religiously and had just passed 10k subs, wondering if I’d ever be able to do something like that, so it’s absolutely insane to me that this year I got to take part. @Abdul Mahomed It refers to the overlay at the bottom left of the screen and not the text which he is writing. I increased the resolution thinking what he is writing might be the clue but it was just staring at me in the bottom left corner. Same for other clues.
The clues are written in small text in the corners of the video. 5:11 refers to ten hundreds video time, where you can find the answer. Hope that helps
Glad someone finally branched out from painting it. This is really cool! Never would have guessed mosaic would end up part of it. I love how this project is inspiring creative people to go outside their comfort zones and try something unexpected.
Thanks a lot KurenaiKunai, it was super risky for me but I'm glad I did the mosaic in the end, had a lot of fun and will no doubt do some more stuff like that in the future :)
This was really cool dude!! I love how you chose a mosaic and the split down the middle to open the doors with a simple but iconic image was a great choice. What could be clues
0:35 the box on the lower left corner has 4 numbers 9228
0:46 he mentions the numbers 3 4 5

I was so surprised by the effort you put into this. Rather than just doing a pixel art drawing trying to make it work with the other somewhat cohesive design thus far. This collab might take another 6 months or more to finish, but it has been very interesting to follow. Meanwhile, the other collab painting is basically finished and made it too several renowned and experienced artists. Very interesting how they took different paths.
Yeah my original plan when I first found out I was taking part was to just paint pixel art on the board to link with the other pieces, but I think the inclusion of the doors really changed the game up and I love that. I love bold decisions that encourage risk and creativity and CurrieGOAT absolutely killed it in that sense!

Your tile spacing and grouting is very well done and, after all that patting and encouragement you gave each tile, it is an exceptionally well-adjusted piece of artwork.👏🤩
Thanks so much linzertube, I was surprised I had the patience for it coming from a digital background where everything can be too quick sometimes. Loved doing it though, will definitely do some more traditional stuff in the future :D

The way he put the mosaic tile glue into the glue cap at the end there was so satisfying to watch. 😍 It’s like watching bakers flood a delicious cookie with royal icing to elevate its deliciousness into a work of art.

The most anticipated video finally arrived 😄 . Loved how the skull looked in a traditional way . Since the canvas was 24x24 , Consider it a warmup for the septembit 😂

Don't be affraid to soak you sponge in water next time! Your tiles are supposed to be cleaned with this only, so you need a big bucket of water! (That's a trick you learn when doing tiles in a shower or a floor 😅)

I tried looking for those clues but I'm bad in like ALL games. 😢 But love your addition to this, those tiles look gorgeous as the color shifts. And the fact that the sub count is going down more and more is so cool. It's hard to find other creators on YT and as a small channel myself it's great to discover other creators. @@saultoons TBH I dunno. Just got married n back from honeymoon, so currently moving my wifes stuff and sorting out our place for the next week, then i dunno haha. Just focusing on my radio guest spot for now as my hobby, but will get back to pixel art and game dev later in the year probably. Thanks for asking! You'll be first informed of anything new. I've been brainstorming youtube video ideas, but nothing is sticking, nothing seems to have that "gap in the market" feel, that'll allow for more that a few hundred views, that I'm actually interested in and passionate about. All good tho! It's too much work making vids, that I'm sure you're fully aware of, that i currently don't have time for 😁

So awesome! This is probably a little late and may be useless, but I used to work in a pro hardware store and I learned from a bunch of the professional brick and tile layers.
A Pro Sponge really is worth the money, because the sponges are made with a much denser, even texture that allows for a much cleaner finish than a normal everyday sponge. Also, the texture description for grout is technically BOTH correct, because each texture applies to a different kind of grout- Sanded or not sanded. Sanded grout has texture and is made for filling larger gaps, so a peanut butter texture works better for the thicker, grittier grout. Not sanded is smoother and finer, made for filling in tiny gaps, so a thinner toothpaste consistency is needed.
Hope that helps a bit for future mosaic projects, and thanks for contributing something so fun and cool to this big collaboration!

Wow you did a great job! When you said that adding the grout was a big contrast because it wasn’t relaxing, it reminded me of when I first lined my traditional art. I bet adding grout becomes relaxing after you do it a bunch

I would have put a nice thick coat of epoxy over the tiles just to make sure they were never going to come off, especially with all of the shipping this piece will see in it's lifetime. Beautiful work, man.
