I disagree on the 3DS being a waste of money and the 3D effect being bad, it's awesome to me and 3DS is way superior to the DS, and I compeltely disagree on the Wiimote being hard to use to do tasks, it's extremly responsive and better than a PC mouse, if you really struggle with this, then it's either a bad placement of your sensor bar or a skill issue, no one in my family and friends struggled with it except my grandma because she was using her entire arm to move the hand instead of just the wrist.
Id personally argue that Xbox, Playstation, and Nintendo lost the console wars. Arguably the true winner is Valve Xbox: nearly all of their games are on Steam and even work on the Steam Deck (the ones that arent can be streamed) Playstation: most of their games are on Steam and work with the Steam Deck Nintendo: they've lost all faith from third party publishers and now their consoles are useful for very little more then their own games Valve: They turned the PC handheld space from a tiny niche to the a massive market, when Valve releases SteamOS on other devices a majority of PC handhelds will be running it (and making Valve tons of money in the process). They already dominate PCVR, PC gaming, and soon they'll dominate handheld gaming along with couch gaming (with new Steam Machines popping up)
I would disagree with the nintendo part because third-party support has been better in the Switch era than the other generations. Also Valve dominating the handheld market is not going to be easy. Sony tried to dominate the handheld market but it failed. For now nintendo still dominates the handheld market.
Truth be told, I never really considered Valve and Nintendo to be direct competitors, as neither side have really tried to take away from either audience. At this point, both companies are set to become nice compliments to one another, which each company having a dominance in one sphere. Even though most gamers probably have both a Steam account and a Switch, or at least one of them.
To be fair, the 3DS nowdays is one of the best consoles if you take into consideration the homebrew, native ds support and all those grrat games. Personally, I bought mine over a year ago and I'm still in love with the 3D effect, I play it exclusively using that

The "Wii Family Edition" is just a Wii but it's buttons (power, reset, eject, sync) are designed horizontally, it doesn't come with a vertical stand, and worst of all, it does not have backwards compatibility with Gamecube games, unless you change the disc drive to one of an older Wiis, and hook the Gamecube controller port thingy to the Wii, the OS is exactly the same, no changes AT ALL, so it's just a budget Wii, the Wii Mini took that low budgeting and put it on steroids, however. (It has a different OS, no Gamecube compatibility, internet whatsoever [Wi-Fi wasn't supported and neither was the Ethernet adapter], or SD card reader, and one of the USB ports on the back also vanished, it's a Toploader disc drive too) But it did come with Mario Kart Wii which basically made the standalone console 40$, it was originally 100$.

I hear you my fellow kin!
I originally bought the Switch at launch because the 1st party exclusives like Xenoblade, Splatoon, Zelda and Fire Emblem were so enticing and they were all getting releases that same year. However, as the years progressed, so too did my Switch library. I now own more than 400 indie titles, dozens of first party games and a healthy amount of third party games that don’t run like dog poop. I’ve owned more games on the Switch than I have for every console I’ve owned, which is a lot since I started gaming in 1994. Over 550 games and counting, all on a single micro SD card. Absolutely insane! I’ve never been bored with the Switch, never had any lulls in the many years it’s been out. There’s always been something to play, something that caught my eye and I don’t see that changing with the Switch 2. Nintendo doesn’t need PS5 level of performance, it just needs great games and a great volume of them, from the humble indies to the AAA’s. That’s what made Nintendo win the console wars. It focused on the games and kept them constantly coming. I can’t express how much I love my Switch and I’m so glad to see it getting recognition in its dying days.

I was so excited, went home, put the game into the PC to install it (like I used to do it with many games, that I've got or borrowed from the libary or a friend) to find out... it's an expension and in order to play it I need the base game Sims 2. I was crying, I've spent so much of my pocket money on it, I was excited and now my hopes and dreams were crushed 😢 I wanted to play this game so bad and now I was stuck on a screen that tells me I need another game to play it ;_; But then my Mom came to the rescue, while I was home sad and dissapointed, she went to the shopping mall with my older brother and went to Saturn to buy me the base Sims 2 game. And my brother even convinced her to get the Sims 2 Deluxe instead of just the normal base game :D I was so happy when she gave it to me :D And me and my siblings had so much fun with Sims 2 ^^ Eventually I got more expensions and it was always so funny to play the game with friends, my siblings or alone :) My mom still remembers how funny it was when my older sister played the game and struggled with it, cause her Sim got twins and everything was so much chaos, since she struggled to keep care for all the needs :'D

8:49 it’s not expensive it’s $200 less than a ps5
Toy Story 3 and NSMB were my own classic DS games and hearing you mention them brings a smile to my face.
0:05 Matt mentioned. 🗣️‼️🗣️‼️
Amazing editing done! Love your style, its so intriguing!
Stupid wannabe
The 3Ds was a masterpiece.
dude the wii playing just dance, wii sports, (especially bowling), and like other games were so fun 😭 the nostalgia
Id personally argue that Xbox, Playstation, and Nintendo lost the console wars. Arguably the true winner is Valve
Xbox: nearly all of their games are on Steam and even work on the Steam Deck (the ones that arent can be streamed)
Playstation: most of their games are on Steam and work with the Steam Deck
Nintendo: they've lost all faith from third party publishers and now their consoles are useful for very little more then their own games
Valve: They turned the PC handheld space from a tiny niche to the a massive market, when Valve releases SteamOS on other devices a majority of PC handhelds will be running it (and making Valve tons of money in the process).
I also had a Nintendo DS as a kid so many memories playing it. And the GameCube
Replay that game, it was actually booty with the retro tracks. 2:32
To be fair, the 3DS nowdays is one of the best consoles if you take into consideration the homebrew, native ds support and all those grrat games. Personally, I bought mine over a year ago and I'm still in love with the 3D effect, I play it exclusively using that

Really good video! Cool to see your side of nintendo
My first console ever was a Nintendo Ds I XL 25th anniversary edition and my first 2 games was Mario Kart Ds and Lego Star Wars Ds, I miss those days when I was young because I would play every single day and one time when it was time for bed, I was still playing my ds and when my parents came in, I put my ds under my pillow and pretended to sleep but eventually I was caught🤣 fun times I had as a kid🥲 or should I say FUN TIMES WE HAD AS A KID BECAUSE I KNOW YALL EXPERIENCED THE SAME THING🤣💀

1:51 ERM, ACKSHULLY, it’s on 5! ☝️🤓 Nah but fr tho, there’s the 1st on the DS, then there’s Wii on, well, the Wii… Then you’ve got 2 (even though it’s the third but whatever) on the 3DS, then U and Luigi U on the WiiU, and finally, on the Switch, both of the Wii U releases were combined in U Deluxe, but you could get them together on the WiiU anyways, so the only real new addition to U Deluxe is Toadette. (And I guess Peachette, which spawned the infamous Bowsette…)
"Nintendo won the console wars"
Proceeds to talk about the nostalgia he had with the nintendo consoles, instead of providing any information on how Nintendo won said console wars.
And whoever dare thinks about saying that the PS5 and the Xbox Series X/S doesn't have games, buddy this console was around for only a year and atleast the games on those consoles run on 60 fps and doesn't make you feel constipated
No one cares about console wars anymore

I like the fact that even if I play in TV mode my Switch is save from any blackout that would happen.
My progress is still safe and I can just continue in handheld mode.
Nintendo is the oldest gaming company in the world, yet their tech is the worst compared to ps xbox or steam deck. Kinda sad really
still the most exclusives and most fun gameplay bug you are correct, i hope the next console is more powerful 👍
Still the only console that has a lot of games and a lot of sales... MArio kart 8 deluxe sold MORE than the PS5 console itself. HAHAHA
@aliraschid5214 most Nintendo exclusives are dead heck astrobot alone has obliterated every Nintendo IPs including Mario
@QuantumChrist ps keeps winning vs Nintendo every generation, so i dont understand why you're comparing sony to Nintendo. Gamers worldwide love ps and hate Nintendo kiddie games

Nintendo kid growing, now a full-grown adult I am still hooked on the new Zeldas, Marios, Kirbys, Pikmins, they really know how to cultivate that audience and take care of their first party IPs. There's plenty more 1st party games we want Nintendo to bring back.
I still hate Nintendo and I always will
The mario and sonic games on GameCube and Wii were goated

not mentioning SSBU for the switch is INSANE
It's overrated, it is good, but overrated. You can't change my opinion, older smash games are better besides the new characters and whatevers (especially the n64 version, it's most likely better than melee)
NOT overrated and the newer smash games are better. Melee is better than 64
@@firestriker3580 I don’t think you know what better means… more accessible, facts. More visually advanced. Facts. More accurate controls. Facts. “Better”. That’s subjective and cannot be a correct or incorrect answer.

I'm glad I grew up playing nintendo. Despite I don't play anymore, I'm proud to be a nintendo fan.
nah expecting games to just be there on the 3ds is crazy bruh 😭i started gaming at 4 on the gamecube and i never even assumed that (probably bc i separately saw each and every game in a box tho...)
do you remember seeing or hearing anything when you were younger that may have led you to believe / assume that was the case? i'm genuinely intrigued bc this is the first i've heard of that LMFAO
Love your vids ❤
If only all 3 console competitors come together and make one console to have all their games on
i can’t even understand this argument, just open the eshop and try telling me nintendo is good. they make more remakes/remasters than their competitors and the games are lower effort, they’re gonna need wayyyyy more than metroid to get me to buy the switch2
What is not said on the video:
"What I love of the Nintendo Switch is that when a black out occurs and I'm playing docked, no biggie just keep playing on handheld, unlike my other systems that gets damaged each time that occurs"
(My PS4 satadisk actually busted because of the constant blackouts at some point)
This comment will resonate with anyone in Latinamerica. I hear you my fellow kin!
5:37 nostaligia unlocked. that shit was fire. imma have to grab a box later

1:33 your situation reminds me of my Sims 2 experience.
I've played Sims 2 Pets at a friends place and the game was so cool! So I was like yeah! I want this game :D
So I went to Saturn (not the planet, the electronics store in Germany XD) to buy myself Sims 2 Pets with my pocket money.
I was so excited, went home, put the game into the PC to install it (like I used to do it with many games, that I've got or borrowed from the libary or a friend) to find out... it's an expension and in order to play it I need the base game Sims 2.
I was crying, I've spent so much of my pocket money on it, I was excited and now my hopes and dreams were crushed 😢 I wanted to play this game so bad and now I was stuck on a screen that tells me I need another game to play it ;_;
But then my Mom came to the rescue, while I was home sad and dissapointed, she went to the shopping mall with my older brother and went to Saturn to buy me the base Sims 2 game. And my brother even convinced her to get the Sims 2 Deluxe instead of just the normal base game :D
I was so happy when she gave it to me :D And me and my siblings had so much fun with Sims 2 ^^ Eventually I got more expensions and it was always so funny to play the game with friends, my siblings or alone :)
My mom still remembers how funny it was when my older sister played the game and struggled with it, cause her Sim got twins and everything was so much chaos, since she struggled to keep care for all the needs :'D
As for me. I grew up with the nintendo console. The first console I played on was the wii. I had a blast with the wii console. And I had other nintendo console such as the ds, 2ds, gameboy color, nes classic and the switch.
4:37 the family edition of the Wii removed GameCube compatibility and was meant to be set up horizontally unlike the older version of the Wii removed GameCube compatibility and was meant to be set up horizontally unlike the older version of the Wii
Tht Rooster cover was top tier
2 handing the wii remote because the motion sensor is so bad struggling to press the start button is a core memory for me
The pc master race is rising. Nintendo sounds like a way better ara though, never had one but having good games, animation software, picto chat, it all sounds like a way better alternative to smartphones
The Switch 2 isn't "rumored" to be coming out. Nintendo announced they would reveal it by the end of their current fiscal year, which ends next March. Odds are good we'll see a release next year.
