- If you have water leaking in your interior after it rains, dripping from your sun visor clips in your 3rd gen cummins/03-07 dodge ram 2500/3500, this easy fix will solve the problem. The entire job cost me 6 bucks for the silicone, and 0.79x5 for the 5 packs of o-rings. Hopefully this video helps you out! Like and subscribe!

Great video brother, thank you for making it. I saw this first thing when I searched my problem, and it was exactly what I needed.
Tanner Babb you’re welcome!
Guess what I'll be doing soon.
Any tips on removing the fine dirt stain on the headliner around the visor clip?
So the issue is the o-rings? I can simply ignore the large rubber gasket? I have a 2004.5.
Thanks Ohio Red'
@@xmo552 I cleaned the rubber gaskets best I could with a bit of diluted alcohol, to get the seals cleaned up nice... The lights I put back on were new, (old were oxidized), so I didn't have to clean them...
The o rings fixed the issue perfectly. Hope this helps

Thanks man for taking the time to post this! Much appreciated!
Frank Christopher no problem!
My 05 Dodge 3500 doing the same.
Thanks for the tips , subscribed
thanks for all the great advice, appreciate that!
Thank you. Looks like I am not the only dodge ram owner to jave the problem.
Excellent tutorial sir. Thanks !
Great vid and thanks for posting. Always appreciate people doing these. had a water leak from the drivers side grab handle in my 2004 3500. Some of the cab lights were pretty beat up so I just ended up replacing them all or would have gone with your solution. I STILL ended up having a water leak (although I think the cab markers would have leaked eventually). My problem ended up being the metal bracket that holds the upper door weather stripping seal. It was slightly bent where it meets the windshield. I added some silicon just to see and sure enough leak stopped. Going to replace the seal and bracket eventually.
Michael Klatt you're welcome! If you have any questions in the future, just ask!
Thank you very much for the part number.
No problem
Hey some clearance lights have screws on the sides. Figure I mention this. I removed each one and put bead of silicone inner perimeter of lamp base. I think they also warp to point you need to be replaced.
Looks like I’m going to need to do this. Got in my truck and noticed I had some water droplets on my passenger side sun visor clip.
This worked awesome! On a side note this is also a #60 oring and napa has them for .59 cents.
I’m glad that this video is still helping people!
@@937wigger im sure it will be relevant for years to come! I just bought mine from florida right after the hurricane went through, pissed water all over me.
thanks man, huge help.
Mark Stewart glad it could help someone!! :)
Exactly thx bud✌🏽
This is happening on my 2017 2500 and the gaskets aren’t worn ... pretty frustrating
Grey Goose 4x4 yeah I have no idea about those. Should be the same
I don’t have those cab lights and mine leaks on left side visor and that handle top part any idea why?
No clue, on that. Probably the windshield seal if I had to take a guess
Do you have a sunroof?
Same problem no cab lights leaks in same place
Windshield seal
I went to Lowe’s to buy these gaskets. They don’t even have the SKU number for this particular product. Don’t waste your time.
