@skarols Yes, but this isn't an Magnum or Albrecht. It shares the same casing but inside is a completely different board revision. This particular radio is made in HK. Good audio on TX and RX
The V3 doesn't have back lit dials. Been trying to get hold of Radiozing since last friday to find out if there is a fault with it, nobody has been back in contact with me yet.
Only available on the second hand market now unfortunately. Most are getting quite old and it's a shame they are no longer produced but still a nice radio if you can find one. They occasionally appear on eBay and similar. I can't believe that I made this video 12 years ago!
just got 1 as a gift. it was aligned by a good tech and has less than an hour of operation time on it. not my type of radio, it sits in the box looking new.
Whats the bleed over like?????.....a lot of glorified cb's have no end of problems with nearby stations, and stations with lots of power on nearby frequencies
the radio is a toy for my opinion, today you can get an Allmode TRX for less than 1000$ with clean 100w Pout. and the S Meter looks more as disco flickering, it doesnt even display the RMS of the incoming station on SSB. The Tuning Knob is a joke too.

hi what kind of power pack was you running???? or what power pack should i use at home?
It was running off a car battery as I was mobile. At home you need at least a 12 amp power supply I'd guess.
I had the Intek Multicom 485 and the Jopix Itaca very similar radios.

How much power does this pump out? And what frequency coverage? Does it cover 10 metres so Hams can use it?

They are now out of production so your only chance to get one is on the second hand market. Maybe try eBay? They come up now and again.
Basically its a Magnum 257, nice radio but they do get hot on long overs.
@Transmission1UK Magnum 257 it is great radio - have a look at my vid. One thing I noticed it is poor audio. Hopefully Yeticom shoudl be better.
