NPCs said that Natlan is the land to go on vacation. So obviously it’s not a dangerous place overall.
I don’t think bro seems to realize that Natlan is based off of Meso and South America. AND West Africa. Like these places are some of the most colorful and lively places in the world…..

Why can’t there be war in a beautiful place? Also why is it assumed all of natlan is beautiful? Given the scale of tech and it’s not an archon, why would the place be scorched earth/destroyed on a level so severe as to impact the entire geography?
Not saying that cant be the case but i feel its pretty fair to be worried about the lack of changes. I dont want it to be just another region. I fedl as if there was going to be a drastic change they wouldve marketed it already. Instead they are marketing cute animals you can turn into and a very bright and vibrant region. Seems out of place
@@e-thin I think with the main Fontaine quest i’ll trust their judgement to deliver a very enjoyable experience. If it turns out to be a bad patch i’ll complain but there’s so much up in the air right now it’s hard to know where they’ll go. Story wise there’s a good chance we aren’t even 50% the way through the main story depending which way they are taking it.
Also do not forget past landscapes they have shown they are willing to change them after the fact such as events and main game content.
@@e-thinIt’s not out of place. Every single NPC has talked about how it’s peaceful and is a great tourist destination and how they love it so much they’d never want to leave. It was never going to be some scorch-earthed nuclear zone, especially with the volcanos, the areas around volcanos are some of the most vibrant and full of life in the real world.
@e-thin you might have forgotten that the other regions have depressing locations like The chasm, Enkanomiya and Old Varanara😅
this discourse is just the same like when people instantly wrote off ff9 as being childish because of chibi character designs and more vibrant high fantasy aesthetics, little did they know the recurring themes in the game is one of most mature in the franchise, and heavy stuffs happen throughout the game despite how "cheerful" the game looks
There was an NPC in Sumeru I think that described Natlan to be colorful and charming tho and that they really like street grafitti so in game they did present here what the NPC described😬

Natlan theme is based on Australia! You can kind of hear it in the musical instruments and character design :)

3 New characters other than Iansan from Teyvat story chapter, that makes 4 so far. I am saving primos and won't pull in 4.8
Natlan has 6 tribes.. so this place is just a portion of the whiole of Natlan. Inazuma had the electro island on 2.1 and Sumeru released the desert in 3.1 and 3.2 so just WAIT.

I'm 100% with you on the bright, vibrant world.. I'm confused and a little disappointed. Unless maybe it'll be split like sumeru jungle and desert. We can hope.. cope.. mope.. id like a change of scenery and region of war.. i guess i just didnt expect this.
