Love your Aussie twist to this Fijian classic, fair dinkum.
Just needed the traditional condiments 🧂🍋🌶 and it's a winner.
Cheers mate, thanks for that!!
Something different! I love it!! Thanks Deano
(I like tinned corned beef and this is a bit fancy 😁)👍
Thanks James, definitely something different... though is something I really learnt to love living in Fiji. Was thinking of doing a Spam version... but I think the corned beef is nicer
Thank u very much for this! We live in Queenstown Nz, we really wanted to eat palusami and I saw this video. We tried it lastweek and it was AMAZING!!!! Silver Beet substitute passed! Everyone loved it! So I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to eat palusami but doesn't have the dalo leaves. Thanks again 👌👌👌👏👏👏
Thankyou so much for your response. It's so good to hear when others try this that it worked for them too. Cheers!!

Hi there again, thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I was happy with the taste.. but would have been even better with roro.
Awesome. I have used silverbeet in Wellington to make palusami too because of the unavailability of taro leaves.
Hey there Andrew, thanks for that. It's good to hear that silverbeet worked for you too. Cheers!!
Looks fantastic mate. We had tuna palusami in Samoa, absolutely loved it.
It's such a delicious taste for so simple a recipe. Thanks for watching and taking time to comment. Cheers!!

Hey Sienna, I picked up a bit as I lived over there for 18months a few years back.
I never thought of using Silverbeet! Will definitely try it out

Hi there, thanks for that!! I have done a few other Fijian dishes if you check out the Fijian playlist. Cheers!!
I love how u substitute rourou with silver spinach 💕😋
Thankyou Diva, yes...it had to be done as I don't have access to fresh rourou leaves, only dried ones.
Do you add salt, garlic and ginger??
I didn't this time, but there's absolutely no reason why you couldn't. 🙂
Aww yummm
