t was a great concert, Russians love McCartney, and even Putin was there to welcome him, but when I saw McCartney waving the Ukrainian flag in one of the concerts, I got angry at McCartney, and felt as if he betrayed all Russians. Artists shouldn´t involve themselves in politics.
I'd bet Paul regrets bein' associated with Putin on camera, though am sure he enjoyed entertaining his Fans. Oh, how times have changed. Russian youth for about 20-yrs have been logically denied access to these Concerts and to International sports. Entire generations! Yet, so many, especially >age-50s still support Putin. No wonder the Youth are denied. That those predominantly rural Russians - 60% of 'em - don't have indoor toilets speaks volumes about their historical ignorance. Seguaying, Ukraine must win this War. Only then can the younger people trigger a paradigm shift; an eventful avenue for systemic change.
