This is the most beautiful song of my life. The challenges I faced in life ended with success and TDKR happened in the same month. I saw the movie by myself and watched the prior two movies in theatres by myself for motivation. This is my Canon. When I die, this will be the only first and last song played at my funeral.

Every time I listen to this my soul travel across the universe ...
My favorite ending to a superhero film with TDK being second for me. Very underrated and overlooked film and score IMO. Rises is freakin' amazing. The final 40 minutes being as great a conclusion to a series I can imagine and a great close to Batman's story.
For a moment I thought Hans Zimmer made this. It was THAT good

Hans Zimmer is amazing. I produce electronic music, but listening to his compositions, and the way he uses instruments and such... it's amazing. He evokes the perfect emotions with his songs. One of my favorite artists - thank you for sharing this!

Dark Knight + Dark Knight rises = History! These movies changed my life.
It took me until I was 15 to realise that Batmans gadgets,martial arts skills and suit is not what made him so special, it's the fact that he was willing to risk his life to insure the safety of his people, no matter how many injuries he suffered, no matter how many or who betrayed him he never gave up on Gotham. The true childhood hero, A Silent Guardian, A Watchful Protector, The Dark Knight, Batman.
This never fails to get me all emotional. It's perfect.

Hans Zimmer is a phenomenon. I get chills down my spine every time I listen to a piece of his, and this rarely happens. Not that he's ever going to read this, but Hans Zimmer, thank you for making my life better. And thanks Alex92 for the upload.

It is rare for a movie to be brilliant all around; perfect actors, perfect soundtracks, perfect motion picture.
Simply amazing.
Perfectly said. I remember that scene and I remember the lump in my throat as well. That trilogy (music and movie) was instrumental in helping me overcome the villans destroying my city (my mind/my life). At one time, I to felt like my back was broken and I was at the bottom of a pit, with no way out. So, I had to RISE and become the Dark Knight to save my city. To this day, when things get tough, I play this soundtrack to get back in the fight. Thanks for the upload, you are my hero for it.

There were themes of redemption and spiritual rebirth... throughout the film. A lot of character development and I was pleased with it immensely.. The film i had few gripes about but overall I thought it did its job and then some.. The ending was emotionally resonating for me and fit... Batman became a symbol and Bruce Wayne found the peace he was looking for, without being Batman...

Whenever that most epic part at the end at like 4:25 hits the fan I usually get a sense of being someone capable of stopping something bad from happening and preventing it but noone really knowing it was me, and me just basically being harmed as a result for greater good
