I just moved here, lots to do outside. Short flight to vegas if you want a big city for a weekend. They government is banning tents in the city, so they are indeed trying to keep the tweakers away unlike Boulder. Boulder is a combination of tweakers and millionaires. This place seems more middle of the road, hard working Americans for the most part.
I would say. I spent a week out there a few years ago. If you are not the outdoors type you probably won’t like it, but if you like to ski, fish, off-road and such it’s a great place. Some of the mountain passes in the surrounding areas are the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Not far from Aspen either. Definitely stay up to date on vehicle maintenance (especially brakes and tires). Overall I enjoyed it there.
Thanks for the comment! The outdoor lifestyle is indeed epic but the crazy thing is, many of our clients just love the slower pace, walking Main Street, the golfing, the weather etc. But, yes, an outdoor paradise!
