  • How to repair an inflatable hot tub, Lazy spa, Intex etc. cheaply, permanently and quickly with a glue/cement found on e-bay for under £3.
Will save a lot of money on replacement lids etc. Give me a thumbs up if you like the video.

I had a 1" split on the canvas underside, cleaned it with some white spirit, put the glue on and it worked first time. Way better than I expected. Excellent recommendation, thanks.

Just wanted to say thankyou for the advice, after wasting time and money on numerous vinyl repair kits this has been the only thing that has worked :) only thing is now I have large unsightly glue marks (for two such tiny holes) on my hot tub from the repair kits so wish I had seen your video first xx

yep got this , only problem being is that the glue fixed the small puncture hole , but the glue dont like the heat at all , its all bubbled up and went soft but still holding , have ordered another type so will see how that go's .

Hi , do you think this glue would work on the inner liner where the water is. Have puncture at top of seam. Also do you need to deflate tub or lid to apply it?
    Thanks
    Lynn

It way work, but not to sure it would hold the pressure, I would certainly lower the pressure whilst you try, you could leave the water in and once done re-inflate.
I used vynal patches when it came to the main body of the hottub as it is under much more abuse than the lid. Good luck with it if you give it a go.

Hi there I followed this advice but despite several attempts air still seems to be escaping through my puncture is on a panel rather than the seam any tips?

I have not tried it in a panel, I would imagine as it sets firm when the panel flexes the repair may fail. Another guy suggests using "shoe goo" . Not tried it my self but maybe worth a go. Good luck and sorry it didn't work for you.

If it's under 12months old they will replace under warranty. After that just use until it leaks then its replacement time I'm afraid.
