I'm so sorry for Lori's passing. I know how you feel about your pets being buried in your yard. My various pets who have died over the past 45 years are buried in the yard here, and I don't plan on leaving ever. This has been a rough year for you. Take care of yourself, and I'm wishing you a much better 2025.
I'm determined for you not to lose your house too ❤. I lost my sweet Golden in 2020, at 15 years old. For the better part of her life she was the baby until I foster failed two little pups - my first attempt at fostering. My Golden was so gentle with them and protective - a side of her I'd never seen and so happy to have experienced.
That’s so sweet. I love hearing about how much you loved your golden. They are the best! I'm sorry you lost yours. It's great that she lived until 15, though. That's pretty old for a Golden. Ours was only 9. I really thought we had at least two or three more years with her. 😕 And, thank you so much for your generous donation. Oh Bonnie I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a beloved pet, a family member and friend is heartbreaking. I know this feeling, it is huge and I am so sorry. Be blessed that you didn’t have to take Lori to the vet for her final destination. She went on her own terms. People will understand if you don’t post for a while. If they don’t they obviously have never had a beloved pet. I am thinking about you all, and praying that the pain will eventually be filled with all the wonderful memories of Lori, growing playing and loving you all. I wasn't expecting you and Mack to be posting at the moment but glad you have as I have been able to tackle my last cluttered room after taking 18months to do the rest of the house and maintain it. I am sorry to learn of the loss of your beloved dog. My husband and myself found the loss of our beautiful dog in September 2023 very difficult. She will be our last dog as we are at an age and have ill health. It’s the silence we find hard and the closeness our pets bring. I hope you get through this and soon remember only the good times.❤
Ahh... those dogs help a little to ease the pain of losing your beloved furbaby! You'll get lots of loving from those 2! Well, yes, it's good to get rid of some Christmas things. I did that a few years ago. I just have a small tree with lights & then I have Christmas bulbs & a few other things I made! Lights for the window & that's it. Sorry for your loss. I never understood the bond between a whole family and a pet until we adopted a three year old rescued standard poodle. We had him until he was sixteen. He was probably older than that since we didn’t know his true birthdate. He died several years ago-and I still think of him daily-and probably always will. Take care!

I'm so sorry to hear about Lori. It broke my heart when I had to put down my 5 year old lab because of a tumor in his stomach started bleeding and surgery wasn't an option because the vet said he would only have a10% chance of surviving. Lots of love
Such a beautiful fur baby. I'm so very sorry for your loss. On the decluttering, I took everything out of my Christmas closet earlier in the year, looked at everything and promptly put it back. Guess I just wasn't in the right place. Why is this so hard? I swear if I knew at 30 what I know today, I wouldn't have all this stuff. Every flippin' thing has some sort of memory attached to it, but I know no one else would care. I'm going to go back to that closet soon. Thanks for the inspiration and motivation.
I did this Christmas declutter a few weeks ago and felt so good to go from four totes down to one. I felt so relieved to get through this task. Now I need to finish the rest of the garage and my house. I also plan to use Christmas light to illuminate my built-in entertainment center rather than store them.
I was always a cat person when I was a teenager, but my best friend moved into the house down the street and she had a golden retriever and I fell in love with that dog! And I’ve appreciated dogs ever since go golden retrievers are awesome

I'm so grateful. ❤️Not that I didn't cry later the same day, but I'm learning that I can put emotions on hold momentarily to do what needs to be done...especially because, like I said, I HAVE to keep doing this even when it's hard because I never want to lose this house/property where my fur babies are buried.

Every year I downsize my Christmas items. I am older. My children and grandchildren have emailed transfers. No need of gift wrapping supplies. Anything broken or brings a bad memory goes. Two tote boxes and a tree. No problem.

You are such a wonderful friend to help your Bestie with this project. My husband has long Covid so I know what she’s been through. Bonnie I’m so sorry you lost your sweet doggie. Few things are harder than losing a beloved pet. I know because our precious kitty, Tippy, died this last July of cancer. We had her for 13 years. Her sister kitty, Sasha, cried and howled for a month. Now she will not leave my side and has to sleep with me, too. We miss Tippy so much.

I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet dog. In 2019 I lost my hubby and both my Poms. It was quite a bad year, then we all know what followed that. That is when I began hoarding. She seems to have many things in tubs like I do, I also have two of those four drawer organizers that I keep all my ribbon, tags, smaller bags, tissue paper, gift cards, bows, tape, scissors in. Slowly but surely, things are being donated.
So sorry for your & your family's loss. Loss of a faithful fur family is heartbreaking 💔 😢 😞 😔 We are the same never moving from our house 🏠 as we also have fur family buried here. Xx

Also. It sometimes helps to have a maybe box and if she doesn't use it this year to let it go. I have a German Shepherd just like that. Well she's a king shepherd her name is Bailey and she's 7. They are beautiful dogs!!❤❤❤

I used to live a 4500 sq.ft home, got divorced, now in 2000 ft one. I used to buy so many Christmas things, it was ridiculous. Now downsized, I need to thin out the decor. Quick question….I have a tote full of different colors Christmas balls. I see she put the her different colors in separate clear bags. I would have 50 + clear bags . I find it always helps when you have someone to help. ❤ My daughter helps me clear out my craft room and sometimes I wait a day and go back through it alone and I find I get rid of more stuff because I have a think about it. I just went through my Christmas items yesterday as I was packing away things. Sending you a hug! I echo what others have said about loosing a pet as they are family members. It is so difficult. All of you were so blessed to have had her come in to your lives as she was blessed to have had all of you. My fur baby is a senior now and I dread the day. Wishing you a wonderful new year full of love, laughter, good health, happiness and prosperity. You do so much for others and I hope you see it come back to you many times over.

Ah how sweet all the lovely videos of your dog ❤ losing them hurts a lot . I had to let my beloved guinea pig go on October 30th this year . He was sick and this was the best thing i could do for him .

The picture of you and Lori as a pup is sooo beautiful…thank you for sharing it. I saw your video and had to see how to do this declutterring. I used to live a 4500 sq.ft home, got divorced, now in 2000 ft one. I used to buy so many Christmas things, it was ridiculous. Now downsized, I need to thin out the decor. Quick question….I have a tote full of different colors Christmas balls. I see she put the her different colors in separate clear bags. I would have 50 + clear bags . Oh sweet Bonnie, I am so sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful girl. Goldens are my favorite breed. They are so sweet, intelligent, and beautiful. My heart really goes out to you. I know from experience that losing a cherished fur friend is akin to losing a child. It's devastatingly heartbreaking. We love you, and our hearts mourn with you, precious lady! ❤❤❤

I find it always helps when you have someone to help. ❤ My daughter helps me clear out my craft room and sometimes I wait a day and go back through it alone and I find I get rid of more stuff because I have a think about it. Also. My prayers are with you at this time in the loss of your beautiful friend and companion. My heart aches for you. My daughter went through the exact thing last week. I always told my daughter that she was Cassies'(her dog) person. You were definitely Lori' person. She was beautiful!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤

I just went through my Christmas items yesterday as I was packing away things. Sending you a hug! I echo what others have said about loosing a pet as they are family members. It is so difficult. All of you were so blessed to have had her come in to your lives as she was blessed to have had all of you. My fur baby is a senior now and I dread the day. Wishing you a wonderful new year full of love, laughter, good health, happiness and prosperity. You do so much for others and I hope you see it come back to you many times over.

I was always a cat person when I was a teenager, but my best friend moved into the house down the street and she had a golden retriever and I fell in love with that dog! And I’ve appreciated dogs ever since go golden retrievers are awesome
