Here's a list of Yakuza Spirits I made with the unlikely context of Kiryu making it in. Goro Majima: An Attack Spirit played by Wolf. In this Stamina Battle, you start off fighting just a normal Wolf (Thug), after that you fight a Wolf holding a Home-Run Bat (Slugger), then a Wolf that favors the dancelike Up Smash (Breaker), and finally a Wolf holding a Killing Edge (Mad Dog). Besting the Mad Dog of Shimano nets a Support Spirit with a unique Weapon Attack Double Up skill. Taiga Saejima: A Defense Spirit played by Incineroar. It's a Stamina Battle where Incineroar has increased physical power and favors Smash Attacks, all referencing Saejima's raw strength. Beating 18-Count Saejima earns you a Primary Spirit with the Strong Throw trait. Shun Akiyama: A Grab Spirit played by Falco. It's a Stamina Battle, where Falco prioritizes his kicks and knee strikes, while sometimes dropping the occasional taunt. Proving who's the superior dragon nets a Primary Spirit with the Fist Attack Power Up trait. Joon-Gi Han: A Grab Spirit played by Little Mac. It's a Stamina Battle where after Little Mac is defeated, a Killing Edge wielding Sheik appears (standing in for the Han from Like a Dragon). Defeating the Jingweon leader would grant a Primary Spirit that can be enhanced into Like a Dragon Han, which then offers Weapon Attack and Move Speed Up. Jo Amon: A Neutral Spirit played by Captain Falcon. Apart from Daybreak Parts being the only items, this is a rather straightforward fight. Besting the fiercest warrior would give a Primary Spirit with no traits and high stats. Akira Nishikiyama: An Attack Spirit played by Ken. Based on his Yakuza 0 self, this Stamina Battle sees Nishiki fight alongside a Kiryu minion as the brothers they used be. Sadly, defeating Nishiki would net a Primary Spirit that can be "enhanced" into his Yakuza Kiwami self, which then offers Trade-Off Ability (referencing Nishiki's rise to power at the cost of pretty much everything).

counter point 2: that one sidestory in Kiwami (and maybe original 1 as well?), where Kiryu gets scammed by a brother-sister duo, where... brother looks like sister, and sister looks like brother. Both goth asswhoop'd by Kiryu, which means that Kiryu have beaten up a woman.
It’d be funny if they did add him as a Smash fighter…But he literally can not attack female characters, like he’ll stop in the middle of his attack animation and then reset to his neutral animation…then he just absolutely demolished the male roster.
I imagine they'd make it so it doens't deal a lot of damage or knockback if you just hit someone with it, but if you hit it while they're attacking it deals a ton more damage and knockback
I can see it now, Mario’s fighting someone in New Donk City…..for so it seemed and when once the opponent was about to deliver the final blow to Mario KIRYU PUNCHES THEM IN THE FACE SENDING THEM FLYING *this theme plays* Kiryu: BRING IT ON KIRYU FIGHTS LIKE A DRAGON
And for Kiryu’s ultimate, he utilizes all 4 styles starting with Brawler, then switching to Rush, then to Beast, and finishing off with the Legend Style Dragon of Dojima!

if Kiryu actually made it to this game, then Kazuya will be the only Mishima to finally realize that promise they made with Kiryu back in Project X Zone 2.. We never got Kiryu for tekken 7, probably won't be in tekken 8 as well... This is close as we can get,... IF he'll guest in this game
