Nice treat, I may buy one myself. I bought an Amiga 1000 in 1986 and I put that mouse through it’s paces. Finally the click response was gone and i paid a really technical savant a chance to fix it. Got a few more years out of it. Your english writing is as good as native. Astounds me because in my years of learning german I have little hope of ever being even remotely proficient.

Thanks a lot! It might be because we start learning English at school from a very young age. My 10-year-old son already speaks English very well. I don't use English in conversation often, so I'm better at writing it than speaking it. I also find it challenging to learn new languages as an adult. Best of luck with your German studies!

Congrats. I loved the tank mouse, even the cleaning. They could take a beating too. We have tiles and I freaked out a couple of times when the ball rolled off the table and hit the tiles. Good times.

Good times indeed. Honestly, I don't believe this new version could endure as challenging a life as the old one could. The old one truly was a tank.

Congrats. Oddly my best memory was using a classis Tank mouse with my Amiga500 and Deluxe Paint to create an image of Danny DeVito Penguin from Tim Burtons BATMAN RETURNS. It was not easy using the tank mouse but it was all I had so I made the most of it, took my time and honestly it came out great, sadly I have no copy of that image file and regret losing it and many things over the years but it is a nice memory and I always think what I manage to do with so little just for the love of it.

Sounds like a very similar memory then. I have tried to pick up that pixeling hobby lately and it is a very calm and nice way to block the noise of the world out for a bit.
