Last pka we got done dirty cuz the map didn't start with the month, but the cmm's timer did. This month, the shorter cmm timer's period is even shorter with an even harder group of missions. So yeah, it does feel like they forgot the initial goal of pka. We don't need another time crunching event, we already have tm, kizuna, and co-op (plus the occasional blitz) for that. Imagine blitz battle demanding u drop x amount of skill books for some of the rewards. Would be an instant write off for me.
It's like you say, it doesn't only suck for the missed gems or cola whatever, from a teambuilding pov you can't really experiment around at the start since you want to play optimal... At least this time everyone can agree that this was a very bad move of them
I also just saw that they are doing the same with Coop-quests, the game mode hasn't changed, the CMM have now a "required rainbow flag drop" part and we only have 7 days to do everything. Man, i love this game but this does really feels like a chore
at least the rewards for those coop cmm don't really matter, missing out on 20 ftp gems (gems that were removed from the 500 turtle mission) bc of the hime turtle cmm is so much worse
I‘m in the same boat as you. 8 himes 2 days ago. Still hoped for the super cola…not a single drop in 10 runs. It’s also the first cmm I missed in my time of playing this game. I always loved this mode. First 3 days were a bit more grindy because I tried to reach 150 as fast as possible. After that it was just the basic 3 runs a day. Easily enough time to reach the 500 turtles. And after the missions were done, I barely even touched it. In the last week I felt constantly exhausted. Exhausted because of a mode I always loved in the past because it was sooo laidback. Doing 5 runs a day just to get nothing is painful. I always dreamed about them adding something worthwhile for after LVL 150. The increased hime drop rate sounded promising, but absolutely bad in reality. If the drop rate was good, it would have been something that kept me playing this mode for a month. Now I just feel happy, that the missions are finally over, so that I never have to touch it again this month. A new batch always made it easier to play a mode and reach the missions. E.g. 10 million on tm or 100k points on blitz battle. However, with a lot of time investment you could always reach the mission goals even without any batch. The new CMM are just straight up impossible to reach if you aren’t extremely lucky. So the only thing people get rewarded for, is being lucky. If the CMM will continue to be like that, I see a lot of people quitting. Cause the main reason people should get rewarded for is time investment, level of grind and also teambuilding skills. That’s what the game is all around, right?! I only see two ways of them solving this problem. Either increase the time period or increase the hime drop rate significantly. In my opinion, the last option would be the most optimal. It would make lvl 150 finally viable and not only a „one-and-done“ level.
What i don't understand is why no one was talking about how they reduced the time frame of the CMM rewards for PKA last time already by around 5-6 days. Now it doesn't start with 2 weeks on the banner anymore but it shows 9 days. Just like with every other mode in this game, we start with a "good"(subjective) amount of time and they change it more and more against us.
The stolen 20 gems are a HUGE problem for me. That's what pisses me off the most. They took F2P gems and paywalled them behind having insane luck PLUS all the boosters or you literally couldn't do it. Btw Chau, welcome to feeling how most players have felt in this game for 3-4 years about most missions/TM/Kizuna/etc. It's gonna be a rough ride if you aren't spending a ton of money man. You may just want to go back to that lifestyle. Hit up my comment on Stump D's vid if you want a list of solutions that would make this hime situation more reasonable.
yup me too, honestly putting whales in a position where they cannot complete the chopper man missions, kind of helps to break that addiction to the game. You don't 100% one event, suddenly the next event seems less important, and the next, and the next. This feels like the beginning of the end to me.
This change was so awful. I had the full batch (I think 19 bonus drops total when I land on nojiko?) and I still only got to 11/30 for the cmm and missed out on those 20 gems :/
Having to get 500 turtles in the first 10 days also sucks. I had time to get 290 and gave up on getting the hime turtles from the start. How do these changes even incentivize whales to pay? It only makes it so people care less about pka for the second half of the month.
i was never mad about greedy bandai changes, but men this time it hurts xD ended with 23 hime's and did my 5 runs on 150 every day with big boosted team, hope they add something like a pity where you get a guranteed hime on like every "x" run or as you said just increase the time for the quest and the droprate 😵🙉
I feel like there are way too many game modes at this point, and all the gimmicks/randomness that's involved now and their extremely short time limits (for the modes and CMM) are making the game feel overly burdensome like a chore and not fun anymore (at least for me). Because I knew that I wouldn't be able to get 30 hime turtles, I didn't even push myself for the 500 turtles (which I've always done before). They've pushed it too far that it's going to disincentivize people from playing.
Totally agree, they made some really unnecessary stupid decision to ruin my favorite mode. But like you said, f that new mission and continue to play the way I play it before
This was my first time every having a full batch. I got 1 run with a Hime drop it duped it 5 times to my surprise. I had more runs with 20+ regular rainbow turtle drops only than I did Hime drops duped the whole time. Side note I always get the 500 with only mainly FTP boosters it's not hard you just have to stay at 20 with all 3 bosses available and use 5 runs a day. This was a special one, I had left over gems from anniversary and got robin my very first pull, 2 rr next pull, nami only took 2, that was my luck for the year so naturally I got no Hime. Juiced for the coop bonus though. Side side note I got to co-op with your alt last night chauzu 2 lol a highlight in a sense. Edit: as for guaruntee Hime drop just make it guarantee if you get the treasure added spot, this time was bellemere then a few runs are guaranteed not all.
Bandai: Doesn't update kizuna nor grand party. Also bandai: Makes PKA worse when it was one of the better gamemodes. Thank bandai, you made me save 10$ every month. I was a monthly subscription player now you lost one of them.
I am pretty pissed they stole 20 gems from us. I rushed lvl 150 and used the 2 refills every day and still couldn't even remotely clear the 30 Himes. Only managed to get 10 and even that was lucky I suppose... The droprate is garbage I went like 10 runs without seeing a single one...
I got all boosted team, and i did runs of LVL 90 and 150, the drop is the same they didnt change a sht... Kinda sad and scam the way they are doing things... This will end optc soon...
Entire pka needs upgrade, parts of it unnecessary, need more rewards for effort, like more cola for example since so many ships to upgrade, more super cola rewards

first impression is Co-Op changes probs not as bad (if even bad), but we shall see

Spending 500gems to get extra 20gems is just stupid thing to do. It was just a way to lock 20gems for low spenders.
