- I have spent 30 hours over the last 4 months trying to beat GeoWizard's 10s NMPZ world record on the World Map. In today's video, I'm going to be showing off a bunch of my best games over that period, including copious 24,000+ scores. Enjoy the video :)

What's really impressive about Tom's score is he isn't as up to date on the really fine meta details, the fire hydrant colout you mentioned which helped you pin your guess. Tom is much more vibes and feeling, it's more instinctive with some knowledge. He admits himself his meta clues are relatively poor because he doesn't play enough
Yeah he's really good at GeoGuessr for a guy who plays it just for fun/our entertainment
He was playing since way back though so that surely must be a factor, that old wiseman experience compared to the young man tenacity.

20:48 is a great guess. Playa del Carmen has this walking street, 5th St or something I believe. It's very touristy with lots of resorts very close by so it could look quite distinct I'd imagine.

Not sure if you're interested, but a tip for the switzerland round. These types of hipped roofs, which bend in the lower area, are always in the canton of Bern, particularly in the alpine regions.

I think I've seen RC get 24,851 on the leaderboards before they got wiped so technically I think it belongs to him! No idea if anything higher has been achieved though. @@gabsol7397

I would imagine that Tom would want you to try and break it, competitive spirit and all that, records are made to be broken, etc etc. And selfishly I'd like to see it because I like the content!

with help from the calculator, you would have to do 58 points or better to get his score or better. that is a tall ask from most. just goes to show how good that score actually is.

It’s really not something I could answer in a few sentences, but basically, I’ve played the game enough to have a good idea what all the different countries look like so that I can consistently get them right and occasionally have crazy games like these.
