Governance system of China and India are totally different. Political disturbances are enough to derail.
Yup, in india government has to give much of their time waste in elections, & if won by only very few margin then face difficulties in even passing bold decision bills on their own, China CCP had made mandarin as national language official for everything even tho they have different provinces with own regional languages some of which r way older than mandarin yet they able to do it, they have no critics, criticism or oppose to them for anything that go wrong neither by any party or ppl unlike in case of india
CHINA REAL debt to GDP ratio is 250%+ , china has taken more debt from its people
whereas for INDIA it is only 85%
I am not agree with Prashant Dhawan. Every country has their own economic policy and till date India didn't copy any countries economic policy and have their own economic policy. Look at present China is facing economic crisis and this is the prof of China's wrong economic policy.
Every economic policy will face crisis at some point of the time or the other. The thing matters is if economy is resilient or not. China has a resilient macroeconomic scene and will jump back

I think Mr Dhawan meant to copy only that part where China was very successful. We don’t want India’s growth rate to drop at least not too much, but we do want it to increase. So Mr Dhawan was saying to copy that part of Chinese economy when it was successful in raising its growth rate.

These people are talking about the credibility of a country to acquire loans. Pakistan's credibility has fallen to such a low level that this time after Pakistan's application for a fresh loan of about 6-8 billion dollars the IMF has refused to confirm te sanction of the loan till the government passes and implements all the conditions as demanded by the IMF in the budget document and gets it passed by Parliament.
Please don't give your precious expert views at the end. It's so meaningless that it's indigestible.

Imam and Moazzam - Its not just confidence in return the money. Its pure business.
A good prosperous country will for example take a loan from world bank @ say 5% per annum interest rate and from this loan money invest in manufacturing, services, technology, etc and earn say 15% out of it and then return the 5% back to the world bank.
Thus they make a cool 10% from this loan money. So its a win win situation for all. This is how China and the US have been making money so far.
