Dave you did an amazing job of locating and securing this vehicle for me. The deal was right so it was done and the truck is in my driveway. To those who may read this I want to say I am very pleasantly surprised Dave was able to get the truck. I was willing to wait and see if he could pull it off. He did and now he has another customer who is very happy. I have no doubt he will work for you just as hard as he did for me. Thank you Dave.
Hey Dave! I love your videos. I’ve always been fascinated with car dealerships. I’ve bought 30 plus cars in my 46 years and I just love the car buying process (I’m weird lol). My grandfather was a retired GM employee and he bought a new car every year. I would always get to tag along so perhaps that’s where I got my passion. One of my favorite shows was King of Cars and it would show car deals that happened at a Las Vegas dealership. I enjoy your day in the life videos and always make sure to watch those. I don’t think my lifestyle would ever allow being a car salesman to work for me but I enjoy living it out through your videos. Thank you for the enjoyment!
Thanks for watching! I enjoyed King of Cars as well. They used to be on A&E's RUclips channel but I think they pulled them off. I have the first season on DVD (there were only two season)
You're the only salesman that I watch because of your personality. You're very humble, honest, and just a likeable guy that I'm sure customers love doing business with! I just subscribed to this second channel. You deserve the success! Keep on truckin' Dave! BTW, it's funny how many Trax's you have in inventory because I rarely ever see them on the road and none of our Chevy dealers in South Florida have them. I've only seen a handful of them since they've been released.
i like how dave walks around and shows everything, as far as inventory! he is up front and not a shady fella. i would not hesitate to purchase from you dave. your videos are on time!
Good video as always Dave. Great to see Malibu's as not everyone wants an SUV or an electric vehicle. The Malibu sells very well despite no effort by GM to market the car. Regarding the Camaro, the sales numbers are down because GM hasn't been able to allocate and deliver the cars since 2020. It's GMs fault the car doesn't sell well as it is difficult to sell cars that aren't being made. GM sold 10,000 more Camaros in Q4 2023 than in Q4 2022. As an owner of a manual transmission 2024 Camaro LT1 I can say the car is outstanding, especially for the price. It gets a bad rap for visibility, but you get used to it. Use the mirrors and it is a non-issue.
Like the video, good to see the cars on the lot, I got 3 Chevy’s myself, 2017 Cruze Lt, 2022 Trailblazer RS and a 2023 Malibu, all of them were affordable for me and you gotta new subscriber
I'm glad I have my chevy bolt euv premier in 2023 , because they are flying off the shelf like hot cakes especially with the tax credit at the point of sales. great info 👍
Thats awesome to see that your lot is full. You know that one of those regular cab Silverado work trucks is calling your name !!!! 😁 As always, awesome vlogs & I'm loving the new channel.
Always enjoy the videos! Glad to see your dealership is registered with the IRS to provide the $7500 at time of sale. My understanding is not all are. Is it then an EOY tax credit if the dealership isn’t set up for the 2024 change? I’d consider swapping our ‘19 Bolt for a ‘23, but dealers are still advertising $1k-$5k above MSRP. 🤷♂️
The customer (consumer) cash is a rebate that everyone would qualify for. The trade allowance, currently $1,000 on a Silverado for example, would require the buyer have a 2010 or newer vehicle that they are trading in on the deal. That rebate is also stackable with the consumer cash
Still tough for us. I have a few inbound but certain options are still on constraint such as the 6.2L which I have three clients waiting for with their orders.
Yea, this will be just a variety of video topics. All the car content will be on the Dave B Sells Chevy channel like normal. I just need to get this channel to the 4,000 hours first
Buying a new 2023 model now in Jan 2024 is not a smart move unless you can get lots of money to compenstate for the large depreciation the automobile will take when you drive it off the lot .. plus in 9 short months the model will be 2 model years old ...so you will probably lose 25-40% of the value in a short 9 months. I would want 25% off sticker price to make it a worth wile deal .
@@dayofdave interesting, I just did not know you could take it off at point of sale. We can get up to a $4000 credit from our used bolt we purchased last year.
Nice of GM to knock off $10k in rebates for last years model Silverado. Judging by dealer inventories I would think you could negotiate $10-15k off 23 and 24’s if you shop around and do your home work
Bring back some old school cars. Like the Chevelle, a real looking 1969 camaro. Challengers were selling great until they stopped making them. Im a big chevy fan but everything now looks blah. Trucks look nice tho
Dave - is there any concern that the business may get back to the point where your dealer will need the overflow lot that I believe you said was sold and now going to be housing? Also, what about that comment on one of your videos you said you'd break down for us? :)
Possibly... In the past we used to have three different storage lots plus we rented space at the Tile Shop next door for employee parking this way we can have more new vehicles at the dealer lot.
I hope you and your colleagues didn't get dinged too much about the sales target last month. Y'all can't help it if the port takes forever to clear cars for delivery.
All depends on the vehicle. And some dealers near me are still above at MSRP. I recently had clients show me quotes from other dealers. One was 10k over on a Tahoe and a different one at 2k over on a Bolt.
@@dayofdave 2024 is going to be the year that brings all of you salespeople back down to earth. You’ll have to actually become salespeople instead of order takers.

So what's the scoop with Tahoe inventory? Still pretty tight/constrained?
Still tough for us. I have a few inbound but certain options are still on constraint such as the 6.2L which I have three clients waiting for with their orders.
Why does the Silverado that you sold have the yellow trade in sticker on the drivers side?
Stop sale order on the Blazer EV! 2500’s are selling well at our local store.
