Garstang is brilliant, my home town now 😀 You didn't get to Garstang Marina, it is further along, past Bridge House Marina and Caravan Park and is full of the narrowboats and widebeams. Maybe next time you're in town 🙂

Think it was called Garstang marina 🤔
It's called Bridge House Marina & Caravan park. Rob's wise ways made an excellent RUclips video about it. Hope this helps.
