  • In this video we drive in our motorhome to the Gower Peninsular in South West Wales. It is the UK's first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and you can see why from the moment you get there. We stayed at Three Cliffs Bay Holiday Park, a Campsite with fantastic views over Three Cliffs Bay, good and clean facilities plus a selection of lovely take-away meals that can be booked and picked up from their food van most evenings. This site is a Luxury Five Star Campsite and it's not cheap, but we booked two nights as a special treat for Barb's birthday and she loved it! The beaches are beautiful and there are miles of coastal walks with spectacular scenery.
We then moved on to Nicholaston Farm Campsite which also has superb facilities and is literally just a mile up the road, but is quite a bit cheaper than Three Cliffs Bay Holiday Park. Close to Nicholaston Farm Campsite are the beaches of Tor Bay, Oxwich Bay and Pobbles Bay.
From this campsite we visited the beautiful Rhossili Bay with views over Worms Head and three miles of sandy beach. It's stunning location where horses and foals roam free. We also visited the Sunflower Farm at Rhossili and if you are visiting around July/August/September time it is not to be missed.

Thank you Lillian. We love the Gower, it's always worth a visit and this time we were blessed with lovely weather. You can imagine Barb's excitement when she saw the foals, it was hard to drag her away!

It's looks so green and tranquil. Beautiful video as always ❤
(That big brown horse at the end reminded me of Wellington 😉)

Such a lovely unspoilt area. We must visit some time. Please keep the videos coming to cheer us up during this gloomy weather. Your music is really calming. What sort o horses are they with such long hair on mane.

Thank you for your comment. There are many different breeds of horses/ponies on the Gower Peninsula! We think the horses with the long hair on the mane and legs is probably a breed of Shire horse. They are beautiful and very strong horses!
