I plan on adding Narcan to my medical kit while traveling and to our home kit… what’s sad is it only cost like .32 cents to manufacture each dose and you should carry at least 2 doses but they’re expensive.
I carry Narcan always in my purse. I have performed CPR3xs and the Heimlich on 2 toddlers 1 adult. All while at work as a Restaurant Mgr. Also while out on my boat. I decided to carry it with me because you never know what you may walk up on. I always want to be able to help and wish it had been around when my sweet sister Overdosed at 27 yrs old.

What I wanted from my comment is to make people aware that they can make a difference and that something with so little effort can save a life. The life of a friend,stranger,or sister. I wish one of the people around my sister had Narcan on them!
It's sad to say but as a school resource officer being around kids grades K-12, I actually carry Narcan in my patrol bag. I've seen kids as young as 12 under the influence of schedule II narcotics such as oxy, hydrocodone, Percocet, etc and even more sadly Heroin . Heroin hit the streets hard when all the shady pain management clinics were raided here in Florida the past several years making it difficult for users to get pain pills so they opted to go to heroin for the availability and it's actually cheaper to afford than pain pills that can be found Thru illicit sales of legit prescriptions from patients wanting to make fast money. These kids don't understand the dangers of the probability of getting black market pills spiked with fentanyl, they think they have a high tolerance from months and years of using so they pop a couple pills thinking nothing of it but in reality the fentanyl from two pills is equivalent to about 10 pills if not more. It's a sad state of world we live in since it's not just the older ones risking their lives for a fast high but now our youth is entangled in a dangerous game of opiate drugs . * it sometimes takes 2-3 dosages of Narcan to bring someone back from the dead who ingests fentanyl **
Very good and simple training. However one video instructed one solid spray, another video instructed half spray right nostril, half spray left nostril.

My prayers are with you for the loss of your sister. I too carry it my son my only child passed away at the age of 21 he was murdered by fentanyl.

I hope that each of those 100 times ( or around 100 times), each time was successful and you helped saved around 100 lives!!
What if their on a vent
Sadly the kindest thing you could probably do for an adult requiring this stuff is just step over and keep going.
