I recommend that you all make two separate kill chambers, one for each side. I tripled my rates when I did since they tend to clog up with one kill chamber

I recommend separating the kill chambers for each section though. One trident farm isn't enough and it ends up clogging the farm. I'm not surprised I managed to f it up, but I f'ed it up. If it's one block off, it doesn't work. I don't feel like tearing everything down just to fix the one block issue. But great video, maybe I'll find the encouragement to try again another day lolll

Guardians were jumping a lot in the trident killer so had to modify it a little. If you have any tips, that would be great. Just to add ... The rates are real good.
No it doesn't if you have to many open less will spawn In each it's not very efficient to have loads I have one on my farm and get 3 times more than this video
@@Nico-Robin_07 yeah use the north middle column if you play on bedrock 1 column is better than 2 or more as the spawn rates drop the more columns you have I get a full double chest of items in 30 minutes using one also have the elevator going up 26 from the spawning area so you don't have to keep going back and forth to spawn them you can just stand an afk at the trident killer with a looting sword
Can I use an already explored ocean monument (only killed the elder guardians, not a made any modifications to the monument) or do I have to find a new one?
So I just logged in about a week after building this, and the guardians are all of a sudden flying out of the walls of the kill chamber. Worked fine before. Why is this happening, and how do I stop it?
Can you build several platforms? Because I’ve noticed that sometimes the trident killers get to crowded with so many guardians so maybe by building other platforms the guardians will distribute and the drops will increase.
I'd recommend using more than one trident and replacing some of the blocks in the delivery stream to magma, I used 16 magma total, 8 each side, this helps kill the guardians faster but they'll never die to the magma blocks so you'll still get all the xp
it took me forever figuring out how to put minecart hopper on a rail with hopper below (doesn't work the same on phone) but I did it using sponges to create air space which enables me to crouch finally 😁 This farm is the best in my survival world so far... gotta farm for sea lanterns
if you didn't have a sponge you could just hold the down button that shows up when in the water. it would show up in the bottom right corner and you would just hold it.
The way this design is made makes it seem like I could make multiple spawn places and kill chambers to gain even more xp and loot, could this hypothesis work?
standing too close to the kill room triggers a pickup of the trident. If you don't realise this has happened and replace the trident, the kill room is useless. I am seriously not wanting this for XP and on a multiplayer server so considering using Soul Fires as the kill mechanism, not trident/pistons.

So if your having problems with the spawning build up the afk spot a bit higher until they start spawning again then afk up there
Alternatively, turning your simulation distance down to 4 should also help!
This farm works pretty well, but I would recommend putting glass above the water otherwise mobs can spawn and fall into the farm, clogging it up.

You might’ve used the wrong material

I make this on the server im in and I just put extra blocks to prevent players from picking up the trident. It works great.

Only using tnt dispensers, but it is a bit more complicated than usual.
