Hmmm , i'd seen a competitors pistol-welder AD a month ago & wondered if this style was a gimmick or a stroke of _ergonomic_ or *situational-peculiarity* genius. Just previously watched your RANGER Rear Window vid , browsed your channel page , & watched THIS. SUBSCRIBED 👏 !! Like your style ( the welds : not so much😱 ! ) 😉 😂 😊 🤷♂️ Your honest , to the point manner is refreshing. I hope you accumulate good sponsors & lots of subs 👍
what voltage did that machine run on? it looks like you might be using lincoln electric brand rods if so they should have the recommended current range printed on the box. 70 amps strikes me as very cold for any 1/8th rod. also it looks like you're using 6013 rod which is not the easiest to weld with as the slag can hide what the metal is doing
not to be rude but you did absolutely zero welding that was barely a tac, what you have shown is that this welder is absolutely useless and should not even be called a welder. WTF SMH
?? Just because he did not do something does not make it useless. It just means the jury is still out. Now if it failed at everything he tried, then it would be useless. I thought it was pretty cool that you could get a welder that small and still do some welding, which he did do. And As he admitted, he has almost 0 skill at welding and that was obvious. It takes a while to learn to weld properly.

You did better than most. Rod angle, my friend, was your biggest culprit. Thank you anyhow.
Just a tip when you’re practicing welding on the angle weld in the middle where the bend is
Possibly shorten the ground & stinger cables & bump the current up another ten from the settings that were starting to work for you.

Thanks!
I find this tool a revolution in technology. my question: what is the length of the electrode holder cable? THANKS
you really need to put on long sleeve and pants!! welding sunburn is no joke!!
I think the USB sockets are for lights to light up the two peices of steel
If a guy like myself has only one hand? Do you think he could make accurate and strong repairs with this tool?
I think you would be able to weld with just about any welder. A second hand is really only used for stabilization.
I was literally half way through when I realized you were left handed
sinister solidarity!
That’s why I call it Southpaw Workshop. Thanks for watching!

You need to clamp the job to the bench. The magnetic action of the welding process is making the job muchmore difficult than it should be.
Clean the metal bro, it’s oil AF! Contact cleaner does wonders
How long is its classic welding handle wire gun please? Thx
ehh. dang welding looks super difficult with this thing i need a small welder just too zap little things together easily.
The locking screw should be included in the package 🙂
Well! Tom and Jerry.😄 If you don't like that welder ill take it.🛠
How much
What are the Chinese even thinking
Stick welding wrong way you weld from bottom up you weld vertical on the joint not horizontal
I would just quit welding if I had to weld with something like that 😢😢😢
Those shades are crap. They came with my welder. Bought a proper one straight away
I can't even get it to strike
He has the same bench I have he is welding on and the same mig welder and tank I have......did you steal shit out of my garage 😒lol
Maybe he filmed this in your Garage lol
Me too. The exactly same bench and mig welder.
Maybe Tom has been watching too many Camping With Steve videos , & decided to do :
" a Lightle stealth welding in Nick's shop " episode ??
LOL those welder guns are a joke. Spend less money and get a Dekpro 160.
If you are going to get a handeld welder FIRST OFF dont get the poopoo this one is also makesure you have arched a FEW times before doing this lmfao
40 and you going to slow
Try to weld but say e01 overhead. And don't work
What can I do
😂
A whole bunch of unnecessary useless conversation to fill out the video. Just weld first, and then give your expert opinion! 🤬🤦🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🙅🏿♂️
