When I was young we use to have 4 donkeys but the Jack. Was very miserable at time he did kick me off his back on step in me belly on no noe could able to get him to move is food from off my belly for about 20 mins he would kick out u eye teeth if u try to move him he was a cruel jachass

Gentlemen!! please , please stop using the DONKEYS to race. They are not HORSES. Go up to Camanas Park in Kingston, and get a few HORSES for this kind of sports. This is animal abuse!! From my observation they look distress. DONKEYS are humble and useful animals that should be used ONLY for transporting farmers Goods from the fields. Back in the day growing up in the Parish of Trelawny, my Grand Unles: Ralph, Brandon, Norman and Vincent were all farmers, and they all owned DONKEYS and they were only used as helpers NOT for racing.
That's animal abuse. Stop beating the donkeys. Do you see horse riders beating their horses? How about training lhem to run? You all should be charged.
All jockeys ride with whips. However there are regulations pertaining to the use of the whip. Jockeys who use the whip excessively would get banned for a period of time.
