  • The pilot appears to be the only survivor of a plane crash in Nepal's capital.
    The aircraft crashed during take-off in Kathmandu, killing at least 18 other people on board.
    Media are reporting the plane skidded off the runway before bursting into flames. Rescuers put out the blaze.
    It crashed just before lunchtime on Wednesday. It was headed to Pokhara city in central Nepal.
    Kosh Raj Koirala is the editor of the English language publication Republica Daily.
    He says Nepal's aviation industry has a poor safety record.

      Hopefully international pressure will allow for US or EU investigators to come in and figure out exactly what occurred because yeah to get blamed for something like that if it’s a mechanical failure that’s just horrific. It’s standard for pilots to do a “walk around “ pre-flight where they verify there’s no visible damage to the aircraft. Beyond that they rely on the cockpits electronics to diagnose any potential issue the plane might have. If it was pilot error than yes hold someone accountable but make absolute sure before anyone gets accused of something like this.

    • @RealMarcellusWilliams
      @RealMarcellusWilliams 2 месяца назад +1

      @@GarC170 how would the pilot be able to defend himself against the claim that he didn’t inspect where there could’ve been an issue, in all just a a tragedy

    • @GarC170
      @GarC170 2 месяца назад

      @@RealMarcellusWilliams that’s why I hope an outside agency gets the chance to investigate. Governments and airlines are quick to blame pilots because makes them look better. The govt looks better because it shows their regulations are adequate. And the Airline looks better because it conceals a possible lack of maintenance. Again, not saying these are the case but don’t make accusations towards the pilot until all facts come out

      Quite possible that people that climb Everest (they are generally elite Westerners) may send fund often to these "popular sites getting into problems or getting crashes or getting earthquakes etc". There must be some embezzlement in such funds received from Westerners. Else why would Nepal be so poor even today? It gets lot of tourists money.

    It seems Nepal never learned from its previous mistakes. Believe me, they operate airplanes like a tuk-tuk. Back in 2017, I flew from Kathmandu to and Pokhara vice versa on an ATR airplane. The seats were worn out, there was a crack on my window, and the airplane seemed old, we waited on the runway, the crew buckled up their seatbelt when the airplane had already taken off in mid-air, and right after we landed in Pokhara, as the last person who exits from the airplane I’m shocked when I see there are a lot of people waiting to enter the airplane. What’s makes me more surprised that before I enter the terminal building, the airplane is on the runway and ready to take off 😅

    In India, we ensure best and new aircrafts flying to Leh and also the pilots undergo a lot of trainings and regular challenging physical fitness checks before flying in that sector. Nepal clearly takes things for granted. I've been to Nepal, and saw their planes. Trust me as a pilot I never want to fly such poorly maintained aircrafts. I can see, very bad management and preferred to travel via road. Very bad state of affairs

The thing is White American girls are themselves known for having extreme interest in sexual relationships and specially our side of men..that no need for them to get trafficked. Probably going to be something simple, like pilot error in forgetting to use flaps or full speed (TOGA), perhaps due to a combination of poor training and a stressful work environment (maybe poor crew resource management, poor rest/sleep). Could be mechanical, but it tends to be less likely in these kinds of crashes (or a combo of mechanical and pilot error). That image is so tragic, 2:23, the body displays the Pugilistic posture, a 'boxing' like stance, caused by the fires heat dehydrating the muscles in the body, causing them to contract.
    RIP to all the souls lost and strength to their families and loved ones.

    All the people on board the plane were employees of the airline
    Safe to say that the airline is finished
    Looking at the videos it obviously stalled after take off I assume they lost an engine and pilots did not fly the aircraft as trained .
