Stubaier Höhenweg (Stubai High Route) July 2023

Stubaier Höhenweg / Stubai High Route / Rucksack Route solo hike from Starkenburger Hutte to Innsbrucker Hutte, July 2023.
Route is black route with many, many metal cables and steps, but they are difficult to show in photos. I do not think route is dangerous, but you has to concentrate. Path is very well laid and taken care of, thanks!
I arrived via Munich airport to Fulpmes and up via Kreutzjohnbahn that same day. From bergstation is short (4km) but beautiful hike to Starkenburger hutte. End of the route Innsbrucker Hutte, and last day 2 hrs hike down to Neustif, and travelling to airport.
Unfortunately, my third day (in Franz Senn hutte) started under heavy thunder, and meteo was not good for couple days. So I had to skip Neue Regensburger hutte. But I think I was lucky with weather, 'cause before and after my hike there has been a lot of rain, and I think it seems to be usual in Stubai alps.
Bus service form Neustiff along the valley is very good, and from all huts except Bremer Hutte you can go down and catch the bus, which is helpful when you have a plane or train to catch :) . From Bremer hutte you can go down to Gschnitz valley, if weather is bad and you can not do section between Bremer hutte and Innsbrucker Hutte with three cols to climb.

Is it possible to do it for less than 9 days? Let's say 6 or 7?

Oh yes, it is. I did short days (partially for weather reasons), and many people do two short sections together.
I did not want to rush, I come from very flat, see-level area and I have some vertigo problems, so I wanted to
take my time on this route :)
I arrived from airport to Fulpmes 10.July, and reached Innsbrucker Hutte 16. July. Next day hiking down to bus/airport.
Check internet sites, you find many itinerarys. In Outdoor Active 7 days, including many 3 or 4 hours days.

From mosta of huts you can go down to valley with good bus connections, so it is possible to shorten th route, if needed.
