Love that you came back and collected so many bottles on your way to the dam. Und bei all den Scherben, die ich hier immer finde, freue ich mich ein Stück so viele intakte Flaschen bei euch zu sehen die so keinen weiteren Schaden mehr anrichten können. Danke
Trippy how much wine bottles you pull out of there. A majority of the glass bottles I find are Mickey’s 40ozers and Miller Highlife which are cheap liquor store beers. Seems like you have some classy litterers. HA! Good crew and good job man!
Thank you Aaron! Yeah, we badly need a redemption system for wine bottles too. The amount of plastic bottles is going down since pretty much all of them now have a 25ct "Pfand" on them. Most of the bottles I find are without "Pfand" :/
@@pickuptrash You bring up an important observation, you see something that works and makes a difference because of the work you are doing. I’ve probably mentioned this a dozen times before BUT “haha” we had a single use plastic bag ban here about 5 years ago and it made a noticeable difference in the environmental cleanups I was doing, it didn’t exactly scrub the issue but made a visually noticeable impact. Bans and redemption values work!! I can not wait for Styrofoam to be completely banned! 🤨
Nice work as always guys. 👍 Today I was cleaning out a bit of trash at a small creek that was all retained by branches as well. When you think of it, it's actually good that there's these blockages of branches because they keep the litter from flowing out into the ocean.
Great cleanup! 👍Are you taking the glass to a recycling centre or do you leave the bags somewhere to be collected by the local authorities? Curious to know the procedure. Also, if I may, I've one technical tip: put a Highpass audio filter at around 100Hz when you do the editing and that'll get rid of the humming caused by low frequencies of wind blowing into the microphone and especially the noise caused by distant traffic. Depending on the editing software you use, you might also have denoisers and whatnot, but frequency cutoff is a very effective way to improve raw audio capture. ;)
Hey, thank you! We usually separate redemable bottles, glass and general waste. I turn the "Pfand" into money, the city collects the general waste and I drive the glass bottles to a recycling station. The day of the cleanup was a national holiday and therefore we were unfortunately not allowed to throw the glass in the used glass container. That's why I left the sack with glass there this time and picked it up a week later to recycle. Thank you for the tip. I currently use premiere pro for editing, I´ll definetly try that out in the next edit. I was always a bit dissapointed by the mediocre audio quality of the GoPro :D
Not planned at the moment, but I thought about making a video about all the cool/useful stuff I found while cleaning rivers, like redeemables. But it probably will take a while until then :(

Vielen Dank! Jetzt sollte das Ufer aufs erste in dem Abschnitt sauber bleiben, der Pegel fällt momentan recht stark
Ola, bom dia amigo.
Excelente atitude, todos deveriam fazer também.
Parabéns 👏👍👍👍
Thank you :D 👍🏻
Well done🎉
Thanks :D
Well done!
Thank you!!!
Love the Franklin & Marshall sweatshirt! I’m from an hour’s drive away from there (Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA).
That's awesome, thanks!

Hey, that's very cool. Yeah I think so too. At first you think that's not good, but those dams form naturally and are a great trash barrier :D

@@pickuptrash Nice, I also use Premiere. Slap a Highpass plus a Denoise and you'll never go back to raw. :)
I sure will, thanks! The next video is already edited but the video after that will hopefully sound better 😅

@@LeonDJgamerplayz Thank you, very glad to hear that.
Ate you going to do a vid where you redeem your redeemable trash because that would be real nice
