Much safer that way than using your hands to scrape up the debris. You did a fantastic job as usual! Looked 100% improved when you were finished!!
Looks amazing, Sid. Sad that neighborhoods decay like that. I live in Philadelphia, PA. We have plenty of neighborhoods like this one (and far, far worse). I find the biggest reason for such decay is economic depression. Doesn't have to be nationwide. A few good factory jobs leave the neighborhood/community, nothing comes in to take the place. The "bad element" enters as land values (comparatively) decrease, the authorities can't seem to get a handle on the crime. Street's in disrepair. Hope dies. People finally just give up. Now, this house is a bright spot in an otherwise dull, dreary street. Hopefully it'll cause another neighbor to want to make their home look better. Give'em something to be proud of.
Mhmm and add that to undiagnosed mental illnesses or drug addictions that crush these homes and families and it ends up like this. It’s so sad. We need more people like Sid!

@PartridgeExteriorCleaning It's hard to work out a solution for if you're working around the back of the house in an area like that. Totally agree with the comments about needles. Spear and Jackson do a leaf grabber for about £25. Would be well worth it and it would save your back bending too. Great job as usual xx
It's rarely people throwing rubbish directly on that spot, it's usually rubbish that gets caught up in the wind and then finds its way to spots like this that don't have a strong enough air current to pick up the rubbish again.

@@mrs.quills7061 I grew up in Miami and I live in California (a stone's throw from Stockton), in areas that always seem to make it in top 10 lists for the nation. And sorry to disappoint, but I'm not a man.
I have no qualms about walking alone or traveling alone or talking to strangers. The more I say Hello to people, the more amazing stories I hear. So no, it's not just the reality we live in, no matter which side of the tracks we live on.
Ohh, and I work in the industry that has become the new top target of harassment, newspaper carrier. Besides cops tailing me/puling me over on my routes, I've had vigilante neighbors pull up besides me to find out what I'm doing. The look on their face when I throw a paper in their car and say "You can have a paper too if you want one that badly" is just priceless.
You call it fear I call it situational awareness.
Very impressive! Watching in New Castle Delaware USA
Well done Sid.
For serious rubbish lifting efficiency I would highly recommend Darlac long handled leaf grabs, about £25, and well worth it.
Drive anywhere in the uk and see the tons of rubbish in all roads, streets, lanes, fields, countryside, towns, villages, parks. We are a don’t care filthy attitude in looking after places, the goodies are fighting a loosing battle….☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️
agreed ):
Fast food outlets and takeaways don't help either.
Going off the area and your description I was half expecting to see a tamper on that prepay meter lol😂
Nice cleanup and cleaning walls always adds to a great result, really freshens it up
i would of definitely sprayed strong sanitiser with a pump sprayer over the whole area before working on it or at least at scraping it all up (no hands) be careful mate 😃🤙
