The Most Underated Band in the World. Thankfully i found them around 1985
Bob Catley’s voice is magical. He sings Tonys words with such passion and emotion
Good to see everyone enjoying themselves... Rip Tony Clarkin🌺
Oh how I loved this Magnum line up!
The loss of Harry and especially Mark has hit Magnum's live sound so much, they just don't have the power or sound anymore. I just wish they'd sort their differences and do one last tour with Wally, Mark and Mickey. That classic line up has never ever been bettered.
Super Songs!!Klasse!!
The more i discover and hear of magnum the more i love them! And a british rock band too! :-)
what a song! should have opened the album!
great track as usual the songs that dont make the albums are of a very high standard that most other bands would use as a single.
a dream came true when many years ago start my 3 days trip from greece to london ,just to see you.to see the band that means everything to me .my whole life is magnum .thanx from the deep of my heart for everything
Other Bands would kill to be able to creat such great Songs ... And Magnum will realse this only as a BONUS TRACK?! ... Well, anyway great Song and amazing Band! :) Looking forward to the show in Cologne! :)

Great video great tune ..Great dancing at 4:29.... X
Great song !!
Magnum needs to come stateside for atleast one tour. It pains me that I'll never get to see one of their concerts.
Find a promoter and guaranteed venues.....they will come!
@trumsolon Thanks...it does look great & sounds good too...
If any other band had done this song it would be a instant hit
so you mean that Magnum did it bad?

Brilliant song. Why wasn't it on the album???????? It's one of the best ones!
I am 55 & have only just discovered Magnum....imagine my frustration at all those wasted years !! Great band & this song is fantastic. Can anyone tell me what guitar Tony is using ? Thanks....
The best part of this track is 0.00 to 6.08
class indeed!
Tonys Blackbird is made by the company Jay Dee guitars in Birmingham .
...All England's Eyes 2...🌌
Great song, would have fitted in well on The Visitation. I cant wait for Rock City next month.
Looking forward to hearing the new stuff live, and the recent stuff, and maybe play a little more from sleepwalking, Rock Art and Goodnight LA this time, as well as the classic regulars and some real old revivals.
I don't think that is asking too much, it will be a 6 hour show right?
Kjemperått!!!❤
Helt rått
Official release by Magnum. Eyes Like Fire.
Good song but lacks the big sing along chorus.
When Magnum was Magnum, and great, now only Catley and Clarkin and hired hands
Magnum has certainly had a varied array of band members over the years for sure. Many fans have their favourite album, live show, band line up and era of the band. This is one of the things that make the band loved by so many regardless of who you prefer in the band.
Understandable fans have a favourite, we all do. It's part of nostalgia.
I will however say none of the members past or present, would consider themselves "hired hands".
I'm sorry you feel that about the different members who have been in the band. Some, staying with the band for many decades.
Also, current members are a very strong line up creating fantastic new music. Many fans still look forward to the new albums ( which is being recorded as we speak) and look forward to seeing the current line up on tour.
Your opinion is noted & understood. They say feedback is a gift !
So thanks for the positive post. That's just what the world needs right now.
I am however, a little confused, as you have left so many positive posts and likes on the Magnum social pages over past years, yet you say it's not the band for you???
Appreciate your time and energy you put into helping the algorithm push this track along. For a band that you don't like that much these days, you do spend a lot of your time leaving posts.
Always a fun read, we appreciate it.
Cheers Al.
Thank you for the answer Al.. Yes, I have commented som posts and it looks positive from my view. But when Mark Stanway leaved the band I think it all wnt down hill. You know I have followed the band since early 80:s and the line up that are classic for manu of us: Tony, Bob, Mark, Wally and Mickey. Magnum was on it's peak then. But I even enjoyed the line up with you as a bass player in the come back Breath Of Life. One of the big problem is that Tony have not said a kind word towards Mark, but he have been talking trash about him. Mark Stanway is a only to superior keyboard player and I miss him very much.
You got in the band around 2000 so I seen you as a real good bass player who fitted well in the band. NOW I only see Tony and Bob as genuine members. I know you don't like this, but Bobs voice sound horrible - in high notes it's clear that he lost his voice. I think it's time for the band to step down. But I can live on all the memories .
I will always enjoy the all classic albums, but the last three ones almost sound the same. I would like that Tony get back to writing material like those between 1985-20001 @@AlanBarrow
@@KennethNordin thanks for your explanation. Glad you have memories and back catalogue to still enjoy. At least there is that. Thanks for the support.
Sorry the band won’t be stepping down anytime soon. They still have a lot to offer with new music. May be there might be something on the new album you like. But thank you for following the band in past years.
Cheers Al.
This is not what Magnum are now, I rather call them Hard Rain 2.0 after 2016
we get it.
