I always feel like that when I watch true crime docs. Like I want to 👍for the narrator or creator of the channel cause they fid so well portraying the event or how they showed their own emotions throughout the narration but then I want to 👎because of the event/story itself because I can't condone that behavior or support it and make people think it's OK cause of all the likes the video gets and the clout the people in the story get for what they did. I am 19 y/o and I lost my mom this year to lung cancer. She was a single mother and I was her only child. It’s absolutely the hardest thing I have ever dealt with in my life. I have been able to cope by thinking of all the happy memories I had with my mom and making sure that I never think of the...”what if..” “I could have done this better” and all the negative things. I don't know if anyone can ever 'get over' or 'process' a parent's death entirely. My mom lost her dad and that was when I was still a baby. 27 years later, everytime she would talk about it, she would still cry and say "I'm still my dad's little girl." My heart goes out to you Tiffany and your family. I've been watching you since I was a teenager and I definitely can tell how proud your dad is of you. The fact that he was ready to go tells me that. You're so loved, Tiffany. Forever.

When I lost my daughter eleven years ago, I thought my life was over. I didn't know how things could go on without her. But I really focused on just taking things one day at a time and making sure to take care of myself. I also allowed myself the time and space that I needed to grieve and heal. Eventually, a month had gone by. And then a year. And then five years. Losing my daughter taught me to appreciate the small moments and to make them special. I have a four year old little girl now and we turn something small like watching a movie into a grand adventure. Popcorn and a blanket fort. My best advice is to not let anyone tell you when you are done grieving. Because grief is a process and everyone experiences it differently. Just hang in there and take care of yourself. You have a lot of people who love you.
That just made think that, deeply, you actually never stop grieving, somehow. So there's these times when you randomly start feeling sad about old things that have happened in your life and you're like 'hmm, interesting'. But hey, that's not entirely bad in the end. Sometimes felling extremely sad may even feel spiritual, like you're honouring all your human experiences, your world experiences, life! experiences, [earthly experiences]. So you let them all in. All the feelings in your body, and just cling on to that feeling of grattitude, even for all the worst bad times, and you realize that it's all precious material to work with. It's all your history, and you honour it by making the best out of what you have. Even in the daily little things, there is always plenty of different energies and states of mind, ways of outtering your inner self and perceiving others. And as an awesome friend of mine said to me some days ago, "Si no te sentís plena y satisfecha con tu vida, al menos una cosa tiene que cambiar". And that puzzle piece fell into place. Its actually easy, simple, the 'one step at a time' cliché phrase started really making sense of the big digference it really does. It never seemed so clear to me. So I went ahead and decided that that one thing was putting on new hair. Extensiones. Best decision in life. I lost my dad in December 2019 due to liver cancer. He was my biggest fan and my best friend too. Its hard being there and watching how ur parent dies day by day and u cant do anything to help. What I can tell u is that it’s not gonna get easier, you’re just gonna learn how to live without him. It still hasnt wrapped around my head that hes not gonna see me graduate, get married, get my first job and its been 9 months... but what makes it easier to cope with it is just working harder to at least know that if he was here he would be more than proud. Take ur time to grieve, to be sad, to cry for hours. Its all part of losing someone, a parent especially. I wish u all the best. Keep being so strong💙
I related to your post so much. I lost my dad in December 2019 too due to lung cancer. I never fathomed how much pain a person can endure during a time like that. I also grieve him in two ways - missing talking to him and anticipating how painful future memories will be without him. This all being said, I never realized how much strength I had until this moment. After it happened I didn't think that I will ever be able to function properly again... but as time goes by, you get used to life without them. As you said, it doesn't get easier... you just have to get used to it. Thank you for commenting on this for everyone to read. It makes us feel less alone.
I completely agree with both of you. I lost my stepmom in January this year due to breast cancer. Lately I have been able to see how surviving from the tasks of the daily life has slowly become easier from those chaotic first few months but the pain itself, the grief of losing her, hasn't eased and never will. Like you said, we just learn to bear the pain. The people we love mark us so permanently and the loss of them is so profound that we aren't even supposed to be able to continue life the same way we could before. Im just happy most of the time during that time of the year so it must have been really hard on you guys to lose a loved one on a month of December. Dear sweet girl, there is never a good time to lose a parent. I lost my Dad later in life and I grieved as if I hadn’t had much time with him. The pain will lessen over time but you will always grieve and miss him. This experience will deepen your ability to love. I cried every day for a long time. Grief for me came in waves. I would be fine and then I would cry. What a wonderful Dad you have...he will always be your Dad even if you can’t see him.😢❤️

You were the one that got me through it. You were barely starting and had the time to talk to individuals back then I guess. So I'll say what you said to me 8 years ago. Fight on and make them proud. Let their dreams live through you. She wouldn't want you to suffer so keep her with you always and make the world what they wanted it to be. Keep helping others and sharing a smile. I don't remember exact words but you knew them. Make him proud and never let him leave your heart. You don't have to stop asking "what would ___ do?" Its always good to look up the stages of grief. Everyone goes through them differently at their own speed but its best to understand them as there is no avoiding them. The only thing that I can think of would be to just hold onto all of the memories with your dad. Never ever let those go. Spend time with your family. My dad died 10 days ago. I've been his nurse for 3 months, from the diagnosis to his death. I got hope till the end that he would be okay. But it didn't go as I've expected. I miss him so much. This feeling of emptiness is so heavy.

My heart goes out to you and your family during this painful time. My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in May 2018 and was given 1 year. He passed away with hospice at home in August 2019 and still to this day I am trying to process life without my best friend. One thing I can say is remembering all the memories and laughter shared with your dad will allow you to keep his memory alive. I can assure you even though you may feel like this nightmare will never be over just know your dad will always be where ever you are.
In December of 2011, I took my mom to the emergency room because she wasn't feeling well (my mom NEVER got sick). They said she had a mass on her lung and said it was pnemonia. A couple months later, she was feeling better but still felt off. She went back to her primary and it turned out she was in stage 4 lung cancer. She had 6 months. From that point on, everything was a blur. I'm an only child, my parents were divorced and therefore I had to deal with everything (from Dr appointments to giving her an IV at home) all.while.still trying to work full time. I ended up losing my job because they said I was missing too much time for something that would "eventually die anyways." Almost had the cops called because of my reaction. The week leading up to her death was hard. The night before, she sent me home. Told me to stay with the cats and spend some time with my then boyfriend and she'd see me soon. She didn't say tomorrow. That next morning, I got the call. There isn't anything in this world that can help.you understand because that's how death is. But what does help is surrounding yourself with love. Talking about the good times and keeping his memory alive. Losing a parent is an unexplainable pain but I promise.over time you learn to cope. I'm sorry about your father. I'm here if you need someone even though we are strangers.

I lost my dad back in November of 2019 and grief is a life long process that I’m still going through just know that it gets better and worse deepening on the day and that there is no right or wrong way to feel or grieve, it’s a complicated process.
My mother died at the beginning of April unexpectedly. I have been doing the “365 days of grief” that the local funeral home offered through emails. The funeral home is eaton funeral service, so you could sign up for it too. It gives you bite size pieces to help you process versus reading a book where it throws it all at you at once.

I am sorry for your loss. My father died awhile back unexpectedly. One of the things that kept me sane was Astro physics, we have gone through a big bang before but what if the big crunch(things comes back to singularity) causes another big bang and that we have been living out our lives doing the same thing over and over again. I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my Mom 5 years ago. Was over at her house the night before laughing and having fun with my Dad and my two boys. The next morning, after dropping my boys off at school I got a call from my Dad that she was in the hospital. She had collapsed and never woke up. I hope you take this the right way, but I envy you. I'd trade anything for one more laugh filled lunch with my Mom. I'm sure you're the same even though you had the time. It will take a while. I still talk to her and think about her every day. But it's getting easier... and that almost makes it worse. Be accepting of everyone around you and how they act. Everybody processes differently and you'll all come out of it at some point. Some sooner than others.

I realize this was a while ago. After watching, I hope you are stronger during the progression of processing; with time, you were able to process more of what was happening. You have so much courage for sharing, so I want to say thank you! Losing a loved one or something close to family (family member, pet) is never easy, but it's a blessing that you are able to have family and support team with you.

I am sorry for your loss.. I lost my sister last year.. When she first diagnosed with cancer.. All in heart is just hope that she will live longer.. Till the days passed when I see her suffering too much and passed few years.. I just can't see the pain she endured.. I tell God.. Fine as long as she is not suffering anymore. Hearing about this news on your Instagram last month was heartbreaking and I'm sure you're still going through all the emotions as it's never an easy pill to swallow. Processing any death no matter how it happens will never be easy especially when it's somebody close to you or that you've known growing up. You can never care too much about someone and having grown up listening to your music, your videos and perspective on life for what felt like the past decade, you've taught us all so much and your dad now lays resting knowing how proud he's been with you and your family. Unfortunately, eventually all good things come to an end even when we least expect it. When you're living in the moment, time feels infinite even though you know it's not and the clock is constantly ticking. When something like this has happened throughout my life, I found that running, reading, music and thinking all helped whether that be alone or with friends. Reflecting on your past, your present and what you can make of it for the future has left me forever grateful of the memories and experiences endured. You have helped many of us through our difficulties without even knowing it and now is the time we do what we can to help you even if that just means leaving a little piece of what we're thinking. I don't know if anyone can ever 'get over' or 'process' a parent's death entirely. My mom lost her dad and that was when I was still a baby. 27 years later, everytime she would talk about it, she would still cry and say "I'm still my dad's little girl." My heart goes out to you Tiffany and your family. I've been watching you since I was a teenager and I definitely can tell how proud your dad is of you. The fact that he was ready to go tells me that. You're so loved, Tiffany. Forever.

When I lost my daughter eleven years ago, I thought my life was over. I didn't know how things could go on without her. But I really focused on just taking things one day at a time and making sure to take care of myself. I also allowed myself the time and space that I needed to grieve and heal. Eventually, a month had gone by. And then a year. And then five years. Losing my daughter taught me to appreciate the small moments and to make them special. I have a four year old little girl now and we turn something small like watching a movie into a grand adventure. Popcorn and a blanket fort. My best advice is to not let anyone tell you when you are done grieving. Because grief is a process and everyone experiences it differently. Just hang in there and take care of yourself. You have a lot of people who love you.
That just made think that, deeply, you actually never stop grieving, somehow.
So there's these times when you randomly start feeling sad about old things that have happened in your life and you're like 'hmm, interesting'. But hey, that's not entirely bad in the end. Sometimes felling extremely sad may even feel spiritual, like you're honouring all your human experiences, your world experiences, life! experiences, [earthly experiences]. So you let them all in. All the feelings in your body, and just cling on to that feeling of grattitude, even for all the worst bad times, and you realize that it's all precious material to work with. It's all your history, and you honour it by making the best out of what you have.
Even in the daily little things, there is always plenty of different energies and states of mind, ways of outtering your inner self and perceiving others.
And as an awesome friend of mine said to me some days ago,
"Si no te sentís plena y satisfecha con tu vida, al menos una cosa tiene que cambiar".
And that puzzle piece fell into place. Its actually easy, simple, the 'one step at a time' cliché phrase started really making sense of the big digference it really does. It never seemed so clear to me.
So I went ahead and decided that that one thing was putting on new hair. Extensiones.

I lost my dad in December 2019 due to liver cancer. He was my biggest fan and my best friend too. Its hard being there and watching how ur parent dies day by day and u cant do anything to help. What I can tell u is that it’s not gonna get easier, you’re just gonna learn how to live without him. It still hasnt wrapped around my head that hes not gonna see me graduate, get married, get my first job and its been 9 months... but what makes it easier to cope with it is just working harder to at least know that if he was here he would be more than proud. Take ur time to grieve, to be sad, to cry for hours. Its all part of losing someone, a parent especially. I wish u all the best. Keep being so strong💙
I related to your post so much. I lost my dad in December 2019 too due to lung cancer. I never fathomed how much pain a person can endure during a time like that. I also grieve him in two ways - missing talking to him and anticipating how painful future memories will be without him. This all being said, I never realized how much strength I had until this moment. After it happened I didn't think that I will ever be able to function properly again... but as time goes by, you get used to life without them. As you said, it doesn't get easier... you just have to get used to it. Thank you for commenting on this for everyone to read. It makes us feel less alone.
I completely agree with both of you. I lost my stepmom in January this year due to breast cancer. Lately I have been able to see how surviving from the tasks of the daily life has slowly become easier from those chaotic first few months but the pain itself, the grief of losing her, hasn't eased and never will. Like you said, we just learn to bear the pain. The people we love mark us so permanently and the loss of them is so profound that we aren't even supposed to be able to continue life the same way we could before. Dear sweet girl, there is never a good time to lose a parent. I lost my Dad later in life and I grieved as if I hadn’t had much time with him. The pain will lessen over time but you will always grieve and miss him. This experience will deepen your ability to love. I cried every day for a long time. Grief for me came in waves. The only thing that I can think of would be to just hold onto all of the memories with your dad. Never ever let those go. Spend time with your family. My heart goes out to you and your family during this painful time. My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in May 2018 and was given 1 year. He passed away with hospice at home in August 2019 and still to this day I am trying to process life without my best friend. One thing I can say is remembering all the memories and laughter shared with your dad will allow you to keep his memory alive. I can assure you even though you may feel like this nightmare will never be over just know your dad will always be where ever you are.

In December of 2011, I took my mom to the emergency room because she wasn't feeling well (my mom NEVER got sick). They said she had a mass on her lung and said it was pnemonia. A couple months later, she was feeling better but still felt off. She went back to her primary and it turned out she was in stage 4 lung cancer. She had 6 months.
From that point on, everything was a blur. I'm an only child, my parents were divorced and therefore I had to deal with everything (from Dr appointments to giving her an IV at home) all.while.still trying to work full time. I ended up losing my job because they said I was missing too much time for something that would "eventually die anyways." Almost had the cops called because of my reaction.
The week leading up to her death was hard. The night before, she sent me home. Told me to stay with the cats and spend some time with my then boyfriend and she'd see me soon. She didn't say tomorrow. That next morning, I got the call.
There isn't anything in this world that can help.you understand because that's how death is. But what does help is surrounding yourself with love. Talking about the good times and keeping his memory alive.
Losing a parent is an unexplainable pain but I promise.over time you learn to cope.

I lost my dad 2 years ago now. It’s a never ending journey of grief. I read a book, “ it’s ok to not be ok” and that was something I enjoyed
My mother died at the beginning of April unexpectedly. I have been doing the “365 days of grief” that the local funeral home offered through emails. The funeral home is eaton funeral service, so you could sign up for it too. It gives you bite size pieces to help you process versus reading a book where it throws it all at you at once.

I’m 22, I know right now nothing I say will make any slight difference into how you feel right now but I want you to know and pray you believe that things do get better and you will feel better. I am sorry for your loss. My father died awhile back unexpectedly. One of the things that kept me sane was Astro physics, we have gone through a big bang before but what if the big crunch(things comes back to singularity) causes another big bang and that we have been living out our lives doing the same thing over and over again. I hope I get to see my dad again this way. We really never get over a love ones death, but living and doing what they would have liked for us keeps them alive.

I am very very sorry! My dad died when I was 18 years old, which is now 11 years ago. Just wanting to let you know: it will always kind of hurt, but you’ll get used to that feeling. And it helps thinking about funny memories you have and be grateful that you have memories with him. Be grateful that he saw you and your brothers growing up! And then, sometime, it’s ok to just cry your heart out. But step and try to live the best life because be sure: that’s what he probably wanted the most. To see you happy. And who knows? My dad passed away 7 months ago. I was lucky he was holding my hands and looked at me when he passed. I think of him every day.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my Mom 5 years ago. Was over at her house the night before laughing and having fun with my Dad and my two boys. The next morning, after dropping my boys off at school I got a call from my Dad that she was in the hospital. She had collapsed and never woke up. I hope you take this the right way, but I envy you. I'd trade anything for one more laugh filled lunch with my Mom. I'm sure you're the same even though you had the time. It will take a while. I still talk to her and think about her every day. But it's getting easier... and that almost makes it worse.
Be accepting of everyone around you and how they act. Everybody processes differently and you'll all come out of it at some point. Some sooner than others.

I realize this was a while ago. After watching, I hope you are stronger during the progression of processing; with time, you were able to process more of what was happening. You have so much courage for sharing, so I want to say thank you! Losing a loved one or something close to family (family member, pet) is never easy, but it's a blessing that you are able to have family and support team with you.

I just saw this now. Been there. By the looks of the family photos in your video, you are blessed with a large and loving family - do not take that for granted. The thing that has helped me move on is to always be grateful for the time that I did get to have with my dad. I try and make a point saying thank you for specific things that I was grateful for. One thing I learned from losing my father was loosing him never gets easier but coping/living without him becomes easier...
I am sorry for your loss.. I lost my sister last year.. When she first diagnosed with cancer.. All in heart is just hope that she will live longer.. Till the days passed when I see her suffering too much and passed few years.. I just can't see the pain she endured.. I tell God.. Fine as long as she is not suffering anymore. When the moments hit me hard that she will be dying I really can't accept the times are just that little..
Just learned to letting go day by days.. As long the deceased is free from pain and they will look after u from the heaven.

this was almost 5 years ago and i still miss him every day.
But one thing i never wanted to loose and never lost is my faith and the memorys i have with him.
In my mind he is and will be there for me whatever i do and whatever life has to offer me.
It’s hard sometimes... especially at chistmas or his birthday but it get‘s easier every year.

Hearing about this news on your Instagram last month was heartbreaking and I'm sure you're still going through all the emotions as it's never an easy pill to swallow. Processing any death no matter how it happens will never be easy especially when it's somebody close to you or that you've known growing up. You can never care too much about someone and having grown up listening to your music, your videos and perspective on life for what felt like the past decade, you've taught us all so much and your dad now lays resting knowing how proud he's been with you and your family.
Unfortunately, eventually all good things come to an end even when we least expect it. When you're living in the moment, time feels infinite even though you know it's not and the clock is constantly ticking. When something like this has happened throughout my life, I found that running, reading, music and thinking all helped whether that be alone or with friends. Reflecting on your past, your present and what you can make of it for the future has left me forever grateful of the memories and experiences endured. You have helped many of us through our difficulties without even knowing it and now is the time we do what we can to help you even if that just means leaving a little piece of what we're thinking.
