    I'm half way to making a grappling rig with some 300lb braid I got from China. Some of the guys around here pull in 4 to 5 hundred leads in a session plus anything else that can be salvaged. Not only are they getting free leads by the hundred but are doing us all a great service in the process.

    Hi Graeme/ Mike,
    Just a short message today if i can manage to keep it short. Ha Ha.
    Been Sea Fishing last 2 days up Fife coast. Weather been horendous but hey ho still enjoyed it.
    I met many people also pretty new to this Sport and mentioned your You Tube Videos.
    Every one of them said that they watch your Channel and all of them were so keen to learn more. We shared what knowledge we have together and everyone i met said they love your Videos.
    It just shows you that even small Fishing marks up here in Scotland have fans of you both even though their not subscribed.
    My goodness guys your fan base must be enormous and im not surprised. The best Fishing Channel on the Planet.
    Hope you are both well and looking forward to Christmas.
    This is just a wee message of appreciation for all you do. I would love to meet you both one day.
    My Best Regards.
    Steve.

    thank you for this video very interesting how you do this, but I have a tip that may be of use to you,, I make my own lead bullets for my gun,, so I melt a lot of lead in one hit,, in your video you "clean off the cr*p" from your melted lead,, and that fine for just a fishing weight,, but if you really wont to make your weight's cast so much easer try this tip out as well,, just before you cast your lead weight add a small knob of bee's wax to your melted lead,, the bee's wax will burst into flame's but just stir it into your melted lead until it stop's burning,, (them scrape the cr*p off your melted lead),, by doing this it will really clean out the "cr*p" that is left in your melted lead so do this often,, then cast your weight's,, what you will get is a really clean and shiny cast weight,, cleaning up your melted lead in bullet casting is a must,, or your just wasting your time casting bullet's!,, any kind of wax will work (up to a point!),, I use a bullet lube in a wax form,, or just bee's wax,, candle wax works as well!,,
    PS,, how come I cant shoot fish?,, the water stop's my bullet's dead in there track's!

    For the grip weight or claw weight. How do you get the holes in the mold case to put wires in? Very unique

      Some mold cases already come with the wire slot drilled in them.

    Awsome vid again !!! , talk about catering for us the everyday joe !!! . I really hope you know how much you are appreciated and don't stop doing vids . I am first one to say people like you are the real ones company's should be sponsoring !!! . But on the down side then would it take away the rawness off your vids by having to constantly promote someone ( I don't know that's another debate ) . All I can say is thank you and keep them coming ! . Andy

    • @TAFishing
      @TAFishing  9 лет назад +1

      +Andy Watts Yeah...know exactly what you mean.Would be nice for Mike to get something for all the work that goes in,however any big sponsorship would probably shackle us to their product ramming only,and the Show would lose the cutting edge.All the time we can afford to fund it ourselves we will .It would need a mighty big sponsorship deal to get us to sign up,as we're happy doing what we do at the moment.Its fun,(albeit a load of work) but well worth it for the huge following we have.

    • @andywatts9237

      +TAFishing I hope that the show goes from strength to strength . My out take is in our day and age when the power of the Internet is key , (if I had a company ) is look at your shows which are quality ! You guys who are quality ! The followers you have quality ! Not to mention the views quality ! . People don't get to see the big sponsored anglers . We get too see you , too see your shows too have you learning people weather it's course game or sea !!!!! . So if see it I'm not just getting you in the sponsorship I'm in fact getting a whole business a market . Not to mention which ever company could bring a T A range of stock out !!! . Of course with royalties etc to yourselfs . The question is could it work ? . And I believe in you guys as I'm sure the other watchers do , so yes it could ! . So I believe one day the big companies will come knocking and I believe with all your dedication you deserve it as much if not more than a lot of others . All the best Andy .

    Graeme do you make your own coarse fishing leads. Is it worth it? Do you think the bright lead colour would spook the fish? I've been thinking about making my own as the Wye is very snaggy and I do lose few leads and feeders. Regards Stewart

    • @TAFishing
      @TAFishing  9 лет назад +1

      +Stewart Duncan I have used nuts and bolts as weights when lake fishing,tying a swivel in,but never made my own coarse fishing weights.Everything sea fishing is heavier which is why I make my own sea leads.I guess you could try pretty much anything for a weight,but its easier in stillwaters than rivers

      +Apple Flavoured Gameplay They vary but they don't cost too much, the screen itself is just a large sheet of green material - you will need chromakey in your editing software to edit out the 'green' part of the screen.
