I love these. Degrassi writers had some serious genius moments. Something else I noticed is that Connor's autism is subtly foreshadowed at the beginning of S8, with his unusually strong persistence for routine. 2 particular moments I can think of: his irritability when KC is sitting in his usual seat, and his reluctance to work somewhere other than Clare's house. He also repeats "We always work at Clare's" when Alli questions it, & autistic folks can be known for repeating ourselves. Connor's autism representation was fairly decent for 2008.
Jimmy shooting a water hose at the car Rick was driving definitely foreshadowed Jimmy being shot with a gun by Rick.
