I don’t understand why windows recognizes a PS4 controller or any controller when it’s plugged in through USB yet you need a entirely different program to use a controller over Bluetooth

Thank you bro. There was same problem. ds4 joystick was tied when paired for the first time. But when turned it off and on, it didnt connect again. Video worked. Now it connects every time👏👏👏👋

Thanks sooooo much omg i can finally get my controller connected ur video wasn't the fix but it also was 😂😂. I had some bluetooth services disabled so when i saw u enabling them i did too and then i connected to bluetooth after doing that 😭😂

Hey dude , i have an small issue, when i using ds4 controller in Bluetooth mode, it won't have vibration.. But when i plug in cable and it can vibrate. CAN YOU SOLVE THIS PROBLEM? TQ😊

My controller can connect wired, but when i try bluetooth, it just shows the symbol in ds4, it doesnt connect.
Same with me and when it finally connects it brings up a weird keyboard so I can’t see the screen or play.
The "show hidden devices" tip was key for me. Thank you for the info, I now have my PS4 controller hooked back up to my PC. Any idea why this glitch occurs?

I got my controller to work through bluetooth however, whenever I shut down/restart my pc, I'm not able to reconnect my controller via bluetooth and I have to manually remove it from bluetooth devices and go through the pairing process again in order to get it working. Is this normal?

The problem I encounter is when I'm finished playing and turn off the controller first. On Windows bluetooth devices it changes from "Connected" to "Paired". When I turn on the ps4 again for bluetooth pair and connection, it doesn't automatically connect. I have to remove the controller and add it again. I haven't found the solution for this.
I had the same problem. OP's video broke my Bluetooth completely. I went from having a DS4 that didn't connect to none of my Bluetooth devices working AT ALL after following his instructions.

Hey is this just for mapping custom buttons or is this for everyone to use to get less input delay?? Like if I use the default setup do I still use this to get less input delay? I have an Xbox elite series 2 controller that I use with a wire. Is there a way to connect it to my PC wirelessly and get the same input delay?

ok but what if im connecting the controller via usb cable? the ds4 program recognized the controller at first and bluetooth, but it suddenly stopped recognizing it, now the controller just goes yellow like its charging and thats all. and bluetooth wont connect.

In Bluetooth when it says connected, that means it’s not connected. When it says paired, that means it’s connected
Connected = Not Connected
Paired = Connected

bro my dual shock keeps fluctuating between red and blue light. and when seen on DS4windows it shows 'above/ bellow 10ms delay 'when connected through USB , and after connecting through Bluetooth it doesn't even register in windows like installing device driver or something , it shows connected in Bluetooth but doesn't respond in games and the dual shock is in white color . Plz Help...

i have a controller which come with a usb bluetooth stick which means it is not directly connected to my pc's bluetooth but it is conected to its receiver stick and that stick is connected to my pc from usb port ...i think bcoz of controllers's stick ds4 is not detecting my controller ..i hope you got it ...

Awesome video. How do you recommend dealing with charging issues? I play fort via bluetooth but when I have to charge it I obviously have to plug it in to the PC with the USB cable. How do you connect back to DS4 windows using bluetooth again? I struggle with this all the time
In my case I unplug the controller from the cable and just press the PlayStation home button and hope it connects. And majority of the time it does. But if it doesn’t you can just redo the steps I told you. Go to device manager and uninstall wireless controller and repeat the steps ...

@@Refwo I physically can't plug my controller in with USB. It has a bad connection and I have to use a rubberband on the joysticks that goes to the USB cord so I can charge it.
I have a problem of connecting 2 controllers at the same time. If I connect 1 controller individually, it works fine. However, if I connect 2 controllers, the 2nd one keeps getting disconnected and finally there is no way to reconnect.

Yeap, 2 controllers it's impossible via bluetooth - You can do it if you have one via bluetooth and another via usb, but is not ideal - Must be something with identifiers in windows 10 - I'm moving almost any game to start from Steam to get controllers to work from there

you need to press the ps button then hold share and ps button until it flashes white then click bluetooth then it should pair
