Here's my 2 year delayed review of the Transformers Generations Voyager Class Triple Changer Springer! This character first appeared in Transformers: The Movie in 1986. That doesn't really matter. This is one of the best non-Masterpiece Transformers I've ever seen. And I'm pleasantly surprised you're looking at the Kamiki Burning Gundam- that was my first one, and I love it.

I grew up with the bayformers,which is how I know about the g1 transformers
The transformers movies could’ve been good, and they had such good ideas and concepts, but they weren’t properly executed in the movies, only in the various cartoons and comics unconnected to the movies. Instead, the movies are bogged down by absolutely juvenile and inappropriate jokes, story writing that isn’t well told or written, and we spend far less time on the Robots, and instead more on human characters that we don’t really like, or jokes that don’t fit at all with Transformers. Most of the human characters are either unlikable, annoying, or just plain unnecessary, the robots are treated more like either cannon fodder or background noise instead of actual characters like in every other TF related thing, and some interesting concepts shown in all 5 of Michael Bay’s movies are pretty much wasted.
The first movie was decent, with a good build-up to the robots, and it seemed like a competent reinvention of TF.
ROTF had racist, juvenile, or just plain garbage jokes, the climax was boring as all hell, and stuff like the Primes went so underutilized. And on top of that, even less time is spent on the Robots than the first movie.
DOTM was basically a toned-back version of ROTF, but the human characters seemed unnecessary, most of the plot isn’t well explained, the villain isn’t well-written, and again, the robots have almost no time to actually shine, since most of it is taken up by the humans.
I admit, AOE is a guilty pleasure of mine, but it’s still not well executed. Once again, garbage jokes, incompetent storytelling, and humans not really needing to be there. I admit Lockdown was a cool villain, and it’s version of Galvatron I did like, plus the Dinobots were a nice treat, but it felt so bittersweet.
TLK is definitely the worst out of them all, with terrible pacing, making the story seem like it’s going too fast, once again, action scenes that aren’t as interesting as the cartoon and comics, some of its promises were severely weak and short-lived, and it unnecessarily retcons the entire movie series, so some of the stuff like tie-in comics that COULD have been considered canon, is no longer a factor in defending the movies, because not only does TLK retcon those tie-ins out of existence, but also the events of the first movie.
And that’s just scratching the surface, there’s more to talk about like how Bay’s version of Optimus Prime doesn’t feel like Optimus Prime, or how most of the women in the movies were objectified and overly sexualized (which again, doesn’t fit transformers), how they ruined characters like Wheeljack, Starscream or Shockwave, there’s so much to talk about that most TF fans hate about the films.
*Bumblebee* is pretty much the only good transformers movie. Not just because it was directed by Travis Knight(an actually GOOD director), not only because of it’s callbacks to G1, but because
The story was very heartwarming,
Both the robots and humans actually share the screen instead of the humans taking it over.
The villains are treated more like actual villains instead of movie monsters or canon fodder like in the Bay films,
The humor was ACTUALLY FUNNY, instead of just being a bunch of random jokes you’d hear a 10-year-old say to try sounding like Jeff Dunham,
The human characters were well-defined and actually seemed likable,
The robots were given actually defined characters, instead of just one-or two lines each to all those who aren’t named Optimus Prime.
The action was well done, because I can actually tell some choreography is used in the fight, stuff like using the environments to their advantage or using their vehicle modes to fight, instead of just shooting randomly and having the screen covered in explosions so you can’t tell who’s who.
....and on that note, the designs look much better because the primary colors of the robot mode actually overshadow the gray, so you can actually tell each character apart, whereas in Bay’s films, the only ones that stood out are Optimus and Bumblebee, while everyone else is lost in a mass of grey grey and more grey.
And they actually did establish a heartwarming and well meant friendship between Charlie and Bumblebee in the movie. Instead of having the robots just randomly being in car mode, cause Bay spent most of the budget on more explosions.
Not only that, but the movie WAS going to be a prequel, but as of February 2019, it was declared a reboot. So no more 2007 film, no more Bayverse, no more ruinations of our beloved characters (hopefully). We can all rejoice that the first TF movie not to be directed by Michael Bay can actually bring hope to the franchise.
Don’t take my words to seriously, if you find enjoyment towards the Bay films, more power to you. Watch what you want, form your own opinions, you do you. But I’m speaking my opinion, and why me and a few others may hate the Bay films. There was some good to come out of it, like the concept of the Primes, the Allspark, *some* designs of the robots, making Bumblebee Hasbro’s biggest cash cow, and bringing Peter Cullen back as Optimus Prime. But just because the ideas were good, and it helped the franchise back on its feet in 2007, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s good. Again, if you can find enjoyment in it, more power to you, I can’t change your opinion. Form your own opinion on why you like the movies, and if you stick with it, go ahead and do so. But just remember not everyone’s going to agree. Trust me, I know.

I remember seeing the 1st bay movie in cinemas, loving and then branching out to watch all of G1, and then Animatef when that started airing.

JobbytheHong jobby theres a gunpla where I actually recommend using the stickers it's HGUC full armor 7th it has stickers that bend but they stick pretty well when applied except the red head stickers everything else is fantastic

Great review bro!!! Springer is definitely one of the best Transformers by Hasbro within the last decade. I loved his character ever since he was introduced in the G1 cartoon. I think he was first seen in the original cartoon movie which took place between seasons two and three. I always loved Arcee and it was implied that Springer and Arcee were an item so I always have them displayed together... PLEASE REVIEW BLITZWING!!!
Apparently this design of Springer is based off of his appearance on an IDW comic "Last Stand of the Wreckers" which is a really Violent Comic.

the main reason most collectors love him(me included) is yes because he's a triple changer but really sets this figure apart from most is the nice and cleanness of all the figure's modes. Most triple changers have one mode that is lacking from the other two modes which most people would say the heli mode(me included) but that doesn't mean its bad but it's superior to both of generations blitzwing modes.
