Santorini Cruise Ship Port: A Cute Mess...

This is a complete tour of the Santorini Cruise Ships Port which is actually different from the main ferry port. If you are visiting Santorini on a cruise ship (which you shouldn't but that's for another video...) the cruise ship will drop you at this port and from there you can either wait for about 1 hour to take the cable car of Santorini to get to Fira town (2 mins ride) or...just walk/hike the stairs through the donkeys. But please DO NOT RIDE THE DONKEYS as they are suffering under the summer heat...

This was at around 4pm in October. But it really depends on when the cruise ships arrive. Unfortunately you may have to wait more than 1 hour to get to Fira but you can definitely walk the stairs. It's really not that bad and you can take your time and do it slowly. You will also enjoy some stunning views the way up. They have only built a dedicated waiting area for them... they haven't stopped at all unfortunately.
