This man is a genius!!!! I have had 2 job interviews in the NHS. My first was in 2019 for a Health Care Support Worker and I watched Richards video, and it helped me get the job! I have an interview for the HCA position at band 3 at a teen mental health community hospital. Can I use this video to prep for the interview? Because I don't have much experience in mental health what can I say when it comes to them asking me about my experience? I only have my psychology and my care qualification. I have worked with children though etc. If you can help me that would be amazing! Thank you.
How can I make myself more appealing to an employer when I am a physician associate, and the current market only wants nurse practitioners?States are changing the laws for Physician Associates as well because nurse practitioners and Physician Associates essentially do the exact same job. Yet currently every mental health practitioner position I see open is almost exclusively for a nurse practitioner how am I marketable as a physician associate when the jobs are only listed for nurse practitioners?
My advice would be to write a great cover letter that sells yourself and send it to different medical institutions to ask to be considered for any positions. I would also suggest setting up a LinkedIn profile and connecting with as many people in the medical field as possible, and make it clear on your profile that you are looking for a physician associate role - good luck!
It makes me really sad because my sister has tried to kill her self 53 times in the past year and the mental health team has literally done nothing literally done absolutely nothing to help my sister
