Well, Chiho is a good character but her chemistry with Moau wasn't THAT interested in the anime... It makes sense? The light novel and the manga aren't even finish yet. They don't have enough episodes to make a full new season, but it's still ongoing. Maybe if the light novel and manga are once finished, they can make a new season.

It's going to be a long time if they have a second season, and even then they may not get to the point in the light novels explaining why he ordered the invasion of the human lands. Spoilers below from the light novels. He did this because the amount of magic being consumed by his people wasn't sustainable. He ordered the invasion in order to obtain magic to keep his people prosperous. He admits he didn't see this from the humans' point of view because he didn't understand them at that time. He had plenty of chances to return back to his land, but the reason why he stayed on Earth is because he wanted to learn a way to have his people survive peacefully and sustainably without having to hurt humans who he now understands and empathizes with having lived as one of them. As for the Hero, her resolve in standing apart from Satan begins to falter when she learns that her father is still alive, and it was the church that really was the cause of her grief. Eventually, she finds peace of mind and be able to forgive Satan which he actually finds painful to see because he is used to having her hate him which he felt was still justified even if he didn't directly cause her the problems she experienced. I don't think the story has gotten to the point where their ship actually sails yet.

You should keep reading anyway. It has reached the point where it's unclear with whom he will end. Even Susuno has had her moments with him, and he showed to trust her enough to share some of his secrets that he hadn't tell anyone.
Izayoi Zakamaki no she confessed after 6th volume I read up to 14th volume and he did say to Gabriel that he will protect yusa but chiho is coming in between them he should reject her already
Who knows maybe there is hope take dragon ball for example the anime and manga are completely different with different forms, arcs and endings could be the same case here plus after 10 years this series comes back for season 2 and season 3 now and while the intros shows him connecting with emi making her smile and Chi going to hang out with Maou even tho he really doesn't pay much attention to her does give me hope but they are scary too so i can hope they stick with this

As far I know, I saw someone spoiled the LN ending On Facebook. I was really disappointed. Since The Chemistry between Maou And Emi is very sweet. If they planned to make Chico, Maou Love Interest her character need to be fleshed out and outshine on the Anime.

Hate to say this but the author messed big time at the ending. The novel suggested and builded up thier realtionsip. Not just friendly way but explicitly in romantic too both subtly and directly too. But don't why the author thought it would be a great twist to make him goo with the big boob girl. Seriously he never liked her as partner. Also she is so annoying. However fear not as the ending of the Novels were so hated it's sale drop big time. Just because the ship not sailing. The author do realised his mistake but it was too late. I see some emi fans are still crying about the ending, its very obvious now the author just wanted their money, and had planned that Chiho and Maou would become a couple at the end from the beginning. I quit this series the moment Emi became the Main Character, Maou became a secondary character and my favorite character Alciel got even less protagonism, thats why I hate tsunderes and their authors, they turn the plot into shit just to exploit the fans of that girl.

Why is this listed under a romance anime again?
Hate to say this but the author messed big time at the ending. The novel suggested and builded up thier realtionsip. Not just friendly way but explicitly in romantic too both subtly and directly too. But don't why the author thought it would be a great twist to make him goo with the big boob girl. Seriously he never liked her as partner. Also she is so annoying.
However fear not as the ending of the Novels were so hated it's sale drop big time. Just because the ship not sailing. The author do realised his mistake but it was too late. I see some emi fans are still crying about the ending, its very obvious now the author just wanted their money, and had planned that Chiho and Maou would become a couple at the end from the beginning.
I quit this series the moment Emi became the Main Character, Maou became a secondary character and my favorite character Alciel got even less protagonism, thats why I hate tsunderes and their authors, they turn the plot into shit just to exploit the fans of that girl.
