@@LuckyBacon All of these (including also Defender II) were intended to be part of Atari's failed deal to bring the Nintendo FamiCom over to the U.S.; however, the FamiCom had only initially been released in Japan on July 15, 1983 so I believe it was a bit early for Atari to have signed this deal with them.
I used to hear my dad play this, and some sounds play like it's a merry go round, others sound like something is flying, and the other sounding like the game is wailing, lol.
It’s awesome to know that eventrough the deal between atari & nintendo didn’t got finalized,but atari did still secured the rights to mariobros and nintendo secured the rights to joust & centipede for their nintendo system😁

This is a good conversion. The Atari 2600 is good too despite the Atari's older age but not quite as good as this.
i do like this nes version of millipede, but i am more into the standard arcade version. this is good too.
