@@Ih8u1527 He did. Don't remember where but i remember reading that he said if he listened to that song after what happened with Evan he'd break down crying.
After giving 'Born Villain' a chance and quite liking it, I also decided to go listen to EMDM and THEOTL for the first time and was totally blown away by this emotional side of Manson! Although very different from his earlier albums, I appreciate that he had to make these albums to move on, they were a catharisis for him and we all go through these feelings at 1 point of our life
i swear skold and manson made a good mix of touchy emotions manson is good at it but skold caught it all on guitar as well and its beautiful and such a amazing guitar. my favorite guitar. not dissapointed by this one bit
Here in 2024. My college roommate showed me this album in 2010 and it’s been my favorite MM album ever since. Absolutely kick ass solo in this song and others on the album… especially Putting Holes in Happiness. Manson is truly one of a kind
Ben Schmie. He probably almost cried. He said, in an interview that Just a car crash away is a song, that he can't listen to at all because he starts crying.

@@Praayx exactly saaaame! High end of low too. But that one is too painful still beautiful. Nowadays it’s hard for me to listen to EMDM because of the person it’s about who didn’t deserve to have such beautiful songs written to.
@ShootMySelfToLoveYou actually this drunku/doped style on his lives on 2007-2009 tours suits with the kind of music he creates.I really like this live up here and i love his 2009 tour.I can't wait till his new record.
i personally think Tim Skold was fucking great in manson. I didnt really like the golden age of grotesque but eat me drink me was a real step in the right direction. and his solos were fucking great.
Whether you believe this or not isn't really my concern, but a friend of mine - who I won't say publicly - was guitarist for a band who were a big influence on MM when he was starting up, who supported them twice and he asked him to become the new guitarist on both occasions, stating very clearly "Tim is SO FUCKING BORING". He clearly did not like him very much at all by the end. And yes, Twiggy was and is the best thing. And it's ridiculous to think otherwise.
it all depends on the era look a John5. Its all just depends on what Manson fills in eat me . Drink me and High end of lo he was depressed and Tim had that sound that manson was into at the moment
other than the one about him being fired? or it was for keeping time in the band? also did you ASK him? furthermore go watch him live (armada, let your ego die).
